hi 1st postin here,,i left united housing association in june after 8 years payin my rent on time and bein a hastle free tenennt,,and now im bein charged 937 quid for repairs,,even though the housin officer (shes now left united housing association)told me the flat was in a good deco (id decorated only 6 months previous)and to just take carpets out but leave the floorin in (she even phoned me at work to confirm this?)750 pounds of this charge is for decorating alone ,,where do i stand on this???and what should i do?? please,,,,...

I would assume that the Housing Officer 'signed-off' the property as being in good order so there should be a written report in you housing file. It might be worthwhile if you sent the Housing Association a SAR to see whether it throws up this information.
