Problem is that quite a few have download limits. 3 are begging me to take theirs. £7.00 with 1 gig limit (dongle is free as existing customer). Might be better to buy a mini tv player (I bought one years ago for my flatmate but its never been used - he might sell it to you if you want?)

If your not bothered about live TV and if your phone has wifi capability (as does my N95 - reswapped from Viewty which DOESNT:mad:) why not use tht to download from any wifi hotspots (legally of course!)

As Gyzmo says... they have download limits. I've never seen one yet, which is unlimited. I bought a 3 PAYG dongle with a top-up of £15 a while ago. That gave me a 3GB allowance over 30 days. To be honest, it was almost impossible to use it up, but then it depends what you want to use it for. The dongle from 3 is the only one I've had experience of, but I'm happy with it when I use it.

The only thing I would suggest is DONT get a stick... you need a cable attachment really, so that you can position it for good reception. After all, these mobile dongles use the mobile network, at least until they get into the backbone network. Of course, if you get a stick, you could use a USB extension cable for it.

I think 3 are offering the best deal on price of the dongle at the moment... it's about £50 (which is half-price on the normal cost). The others are more expensive... well, they were the last time I checked, but I could be wrong.
