  1. I left work in March and I have contacted payroll who have failed to issue a P45. They also said I won't get a P60. Their explanation for this was because of the time I left . Can anyone explain this to me ?
  2. My daughter has received notification from HMRC that she has been overpaid tax credits, stating that her employer supplied a figure for her earnings of £2000 more than her P60 states. She has told them she disagrees and supplied the P60 and her P45 as evidence but they say they accept the employer's statement and have sent a debt collector. How can this happen? I thought the P60 was evidence, not the word of an employer who has an issue with an ex employee!

    P60 Issues

Hi all, I'm currently having some problems with my work in obtaining my P60. I have not received my copy from them yet they are adamant that they were handed out with our payslips that month (which I never received for that particular month either). I requested another copy from my employer, only to be denied by our Head Office. I then asked them for a Statement of Earnings but they are refusing to do that too. I need the information about my earnings and tax paid for my daughter's paperwork for finances etc for her coming year at university or she will not be able to apply for assistance. I am unsure as to what my rights to obtain this information and I am at a complete loss in how to get this information if my work refuses to give me a copy. I've looked around online but nothing has answered my questions. Can anyone help or has anyone been through a similar situation? Many thanks in advance, Bill
  4. my hubby signed of on the 7th April he received a p45 from the JC with this signing of date he has not received a p60 should he have received a P60 from the JC as always thanks guys
  5. When I recieved my p60 it showed that I had earned £450 more than my basic salary. I dont earn any bonus so I questioned my employer about this. I was told that 2011/2012 was a 53 week year, this still doesn't make any sense to me as I earn much less than £450 per week so how can this be right? I get paid the last friday in the month so sometimes its 4 weeks pay a month and occasionally 5 weeks pay but still only 12 monthly payments in the year. Confused!
