Hi, I received an email from Three last night telling me that they are increasing my monthly price by 3.6% in accordance with inflation. I wasn't happy with Three at the best of times however, they said in the email that as this price increase goes hand in hand with inflation then no one can cancel their contract as it says in their terms and conditions. When I took the contract out, I was of the understanding that it was £30 a month however, it turns out that that's excluding VAT so I actually pay £35 but that was not ever mentioned to me nor does it make that clear when purchasing the phone. I've also had numerous problems with signal and internet connection. I am desperate to get out of this contract. I have another year left in July. Can anyone advise me as to what I can do? I have thought about just cancelling the direct debit however, I am aware that that would have an adverse affect on my credit rating but I can't think of any other way. Help would be appreciated. I believe that three have just started throttling me as of last night 25th May 2012. I’m so sure of it, my next door neighbor and college at work are on Three and they easy hit 3.5mbps at work and 6mbps at home I'm now at I’m at 00.02 to 00.20mbps which is near useless I average 20GB per month. I've complained over the phone and still super slow. I don't torrent, file share, P2P, or do any of those things its 99% YouTube and NetFlix http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Phon...u-can-eat_data http://ask3.three.co.uk/srvs/cgi-bin...ile:mobileUser They are encouraging you to spank it. Typical evening usage by me is 19.30 about 30 minutes of YouTube 20:00 WoW (which so low in its usage its almost playable over dial up) 22.00 in bed watching either a TopGear or Mythbusters episode the sleep time. I've averaged about 20GB per month for the last 3 months. I think they are in violation of contract as they are not stating any fair usage policy And are miss selling as well.

Good news for everyone locally in the UK. As of yesterday, the new iTunes (10.5) and iOS (5) was released for the iPhone 4 and above, as well as the iPad and above! If you want to upgrade, feel free to do so by: 1) Upgrade your iTunes to 10.5. This usually happens automatically 2) Once iTunes 10.5 is installed, plug your device in and upgrade as per instructions For those of you who like to tinker with toys, i.e. have jailbroken your phone, this will break the jailbreak, and you'll be returned to the land of the living and have to pay for your apps again Have fun peeps, and RIP Steve Jobs Cheers Adridude

Hi Can anyone point me to a short but sweet letter to use for all 3 CRAs to give them a chance to remove wrongful/incorrect defaults from my reports? Thanks in advance.- 245 replies

I recently had the software for my 3 mobile connection updatedd / upgraded. I now find that every time you launch it to connect, it immediately overrides your default home page and goes straight to the Three website. I find this very annoying. I do not recall giving three permission to do this an wonder if I can do anything to prevent it happening. Secondly while browsing the web, the Three website page will load without and interference from myself and override the webpage I am looking at. Has any one else had similar problems with their Three dongle?
