  1. yep thats what Im left to do know in the new year - mortgage companies car finance etc etc
  2. Ok keep us infromed on your progress! Maybe if this is no a default issues a mod could move it for you into the correct forum?
  3. Hiya I have sucessfully had my defaults from natwest removed and a CCj removed via the court! What I need to know before we go any further is: 1. the amount of your default? 2. The amountof your claim aginst Natwest Be warned though they will push it all the way to the end natwest!!!!!! But I will try to support you through the process as best as I can!
  4. hi I agree with Martin. Barclays/Woolwich seem to enjoy stringing things out to the last minute one claiment was being chased up the steps of the court house with a settlement offer. The most people have gone to court for is removal of CCJ and defaults (myself included) but not for a straight forward bank charges claim. Also Looking back at my file I had 100's of letters crossing over from both barlcays and Woolwich it appears it their way of trying to confuse the issues as they dont usually even correspond to each other!!! I think its a case of right hand left hand!!!! Take care and keep us up to date.
  5. This is the usal fair Im afriad - and the reason why many people are draftign up complaintletter to the law society - but that another matter. Dont panic you are on track, as Dellar has pointed out to you. take care and keep us informed.
  6. Ok hun calm it rite down there!!!! breath in breath out breath in.................
  7. Yes go for it - in my experience this is the usuall fiar for nationwide - Im surprised though as they usually cough up full amount so they may have just made a calculating mistake thats all. try phoning them directy to see what they say!! I found nationwide pretty helpful in past to be honest!!!
  8. Ive done dozens of claims in joint names now and just handled them all by myself as they were either/or account. The only time reference was made to OH was on the top of the sch of charges under account name I put both. Hope that helps you!
  9. Sounds fine to me. Well done. Let us know how you get on!
  10. Hey there is nothing wrong with asking advice and being told "probably not" rather than going ahead with things and we trying to unpick things together after the event eh!!! You nearly there now hon - beg of Feb I reckon.
  11. What do you think D? But I wouldnt have it any other way!!!
  12. its me you see! you chat is boring without me - you just cant get enough
  13. eh D maybe we could come over here to party then?
  14. Tracey dont over complicate things for yourself - I didnt even send an acknowldgement letter to their defence. Its not going to speed up your claim. It just time for you to sit back and wait thats all hun!!! Remember the only thing you need to formally respond to request to us the Court by responding to Cobblers every whim they may get the impression that they have you on the chase and dont really know what going on (which I know is not true)- and you really dont want that to happen!!! I know your keen hun but its nearly over for you and you will laughing at all this in a few weeks time. Keep Cool!
  15. Oh madge please stick around honey you can now offer suport to others!!!! Besides who will I have to banter with!! and whoses going keep dellar in check I cant do it on my own!!!
  16. Yes I would! Honestly these banks and their cheekiness!!!!
  17. Although I didnt do my claim online (for this reason) yes send a copy to the court and also Nationwide as well! As for the extra days yes I would give them an extra 3 days to cover the banks and then some for the xmas post etc etc!! Good Luck.
  18. Yes Rbath HSBC do do that and no they dont appear to break down their charges. My statement shows £100 overdraft charges (what per month -scary) so I know what you are referring too. I dont think it matters that you agreed to the fee at the time because at the time you agreed you were not aware that the charges were unlawful - I used this very arguement when I went to court (I won by the way) for charges applied nearly 4 years ago, so they can stick that arguement cant they!! Hope that makes sense for you let me know if you need any further help!
  19. keep you hat on!! It done - now to get rid if the vermin!!
  20. Ok Quick update..... Whilst my last claim was being processed and since that was finalised HSBC in their infinate wisdom have applied a further £600 in charges - how, is anybodies guess because I cant even work out where these charges have come from - all they state is Overdraft Charges of £120 per month - dear lord!!!! I have an arranged OD of £2K which hovers around the £1K mark surely thats not worth £120 per month???????? Anyway, on the statement is says charge so charge it is and charging right back in there is Allyxia with her second claim! Since my first claim I have managed to clear Up both mine and my OH credit file so getting an account with favorable T & C should not be problem! I anticipate they will want me to close this account down. To add further fuel to the fire whilst I was in the middle of my previous claim with them, I started mortgage application which was approved subject to valuation and a signed copy of agreement. Well it was retuned to them a few weeks ago and surprise surprise it has been turned down - reason - credit scoring!! Which beggers belief as A: we have a good credit score and B: they had already credit checked us prior to their offer being sent to us. Methinks something else is afoot here. So I will also write to them asking them exactly how they have come to this desicsion? Anyway in the meantime I though I would start a new thread regarding my second claim aginst HSBC though its my 6 claim (including for others) intotal. I can do this with my eyes shut now eh!
  21. I think what the "reasons" partof the form means, what they have given as the name of the charges ie Unauthorised Overdraft fee Direct Debit return Penalty Returned Cheque Charge and so on, not the reason you went over drawn as in "i bought a pair of shoes and thought the money was there but they took it off me in charges". Hope that clear it up for you any furtehr questions and I will pop along to see if I can help you you! Good Luck.
  22. thread hijack Number 6 as Sh I would have thought you would have had more of a grip on this!!! As for you DG - well words escape me
  23. OK so finally i can post up some news. This is what was holding up my claim. Whilst my claim was been processed the Woolwich was continuing to apply daily as well as monthly charges on my account which over the three month period came to £500 - can you beleive it, from a zero balence they applied 3 charges at £35, which took me overdrawn, which then gave them the right to apply daily rate penalty as well as monthly interest!! £500 - Im still in shock!! When they contacted me just before xmas to say they wanted to settle I thought I would push for the additional charges to be refunded as well - after all, we all know that I would be coming straight back at them so they could save themselves the time and money and just get rid of me once and for all!!! So after a bit of waiting and sitting it out from them (I dont know but for one moment there I think they thought I was going to buckle)!! Today I had the whole amount plus my addiontal charges refunded into my account!! So happy new year Woolwich and Happy new Year CAG. Just goes to show if you stick to your guns you will get there in the end!!! We Can now offically change this heading to WON!!!!! Yippee Thanks to Abi - who continually popped onto my thread just to offer support!!!!
