  1. Dear DesperateDaniella Thank you for your reply. The reason i asked for the agreement for Shopacheck was that they sent me a letter saying they had transferred the debt to Lowells and that I owed £160. When Lowells started sending me letters they kept sending me three seperate letters saying i owed them over £500. I dont have any problem making a repayment plan with them but I want them to send me the agreements then i know exactly what i am paying back. I will send them the requests again I think there is a letter in the library re cca requests and the timescale so will go off that.
  2. Can anyone help me with these people. I have outstanding debts with shopacheck & capital one. The companies have now transferred my debts to these people. I asked them to send the credit agreements for both companies months ago and i am still waiting. Hve they only got a certain timescale to send these agreements as i want to send them a letter but want to have my facts straight before doing so.
  3. Thanks for the replies he has only recieved letters asking him if he lives at the address no mention of court action we just dont know what to do. We dont know whether to let them know where we live and pay a minimum amount a month we owe £23.000. The loan wasnt subject of a CCJ. We had the mortgage and to make it a 100% mortgage we had to get a secured loan with it which was from Welcome. When we were repossessed we just stopped paying it as we were shafted by the mortgage company and Welcome.
  4. My partner and I were repossessed by Capstone nearly 3 years ago. We havent heard a dicky bird from them but we also had to get a secured loan with the mortgage which was from Welcome Finance. This has now been passed on to Mackenzie Hall my partner keeps getting the odd letter asking if he lives at the address we are now residing at. He is now saying that we are going to be getting baillifs coming to the door can i just ask this isnt correct is it as this loan is now not secured tried to explain this to him but he is frightened we are going to lose this property cant get through to him.
  5. The latest thing they are doing is sending emails out calling themselves CFO Resolve offering to put your loan back to the original amount and then offering you more money. My loan is now over £500 with them the original amount was £200 tried to sort it out with them over the last 18 months and got nowhere. I certainly aint going to borrow more money off them I still say its another of their ploys to get your bank details and fleece your account.
  6. Dear fernal Just seems to me another way of them trying to obtain your bank details. I mean why would i want another loan with these people had nothing but hassle from them.
  7. Recieved an email from these on Wednesday. I stupidly took a pay day loan out from these and because i missed a payment and explained the reason my amount went from £200 to over £500 so my account has been in dispute for about 18 months now. I have had emails telling me to set up a direct debit to clear the account but am reluctant to do this as they are known to wipe peoples banks accounts out. This latest email is a classic they have offered to reduce my debt to £200 and offer me a further £70 which I am really going to do. Has anyone else had this email just dosent seem legal to me but is anything they do legal.
  8. Dear kjsw Thanks for that I have tried so many times to set up a repayment plan with these people and they just dont want to know I will ask for their bank details and try and set up a standing order and pay them what I can afford this could of been sorted a long time ago but they just drag there heels and add more and more interest god knows what i owe them now.
  9. Dear Jamie Kingston Do I set up a direct debit with them or will that give them access to my debit card details.
  10. Had a text message from Capital Finance One saying that my account is in default and that if I dont make an arrangement for payment then i will be passed to a credit reference agency blah blah blah. I have tried on several occasions to set up a repayment plan with this company and have had no response. At the beginning they took £75 out of a new account without my consent. I have tried to set payments up with the company & Daniel Silverman to no avail. I have also had one text from MT Collect. They have put on the recent text asking me to go on their website and set up a direct debit has anyone else done this and had any problems i am reluctant to give them my bank details as they have a reputation of wiping peoples banks accounts out.
  11. Dear dazza72 What a suprise they have now agreed to let me pay two instalments of £60 which is the loan plus one month's interest. Just waiting for them to send me their bank details which havent been forthcoming as yet.
  12. Dear renegadeimp They will not budge if I dont pay within 7 days they will charge me £180. I cant win either way.
  13. I stupidly took a pay day loan of a £100 from this company last month. My partner was due to return to work after been off sick since March but is not fit to return till next month. I emailed them and asked if I could set up a repayment plan of £60 this month and £60 next month as they added £20 for interest. They said the only repayment plan they could set up was for £300 which is £200 more than I recieved. I have agreed to pay £60 a month for 5 months as they would of added loads of charges to the account is this right? surely they cant make up there own repayment plans and just make you pay a figure they have decided.
  14. Dear unclebulgaria67 At present i only have two debts with Fredericksons Minicredit & Express Finance but i have heard they are not dealing with payday loan debts anymore. I dont own my house it is only rented.
  15. Have just recieved a letter from Fredericksons saying that they have had to make some enquiries with regards to my address even though I have been writing to them for at least six months in respect of an account that was passed on to them by Minicredit. Has anyone else on here had a similar letter just dont like the thought of them making enquiries about where I live etc
  16. Hi silverfox1961 Thanks for that will drop them a line shortly. Just heard horror stories on here about the texts they send people. Just cant believe these people get away it.
  17. Hi silverfox1961 Do you think I should reply to the letter. Just worried that if I do they will start sending me threatning text messages as they have already been trying to ring me on my mobile.
  18. I have recieved a letter from MT Collect threatning to take legal action should I reply to them or just ignore them any advice would be greatly recieved.
  19. Have now recieved a letter from these people on Friday threatning legal action against me. The amount is now £690 for a £200 loan. Usual crap saying that if i dont respond to a summons they can take goods or I could have a attachment of earnings order blah blah. Can anyone give me any advice what to do should I reply to them telling them to foxtrot oscar or should i ignore them. They have rung me which I have ignored i havent had any threatning texts yet. I sent Capital One loads of emails they also commited fraud by taking money out of an account they didnt have details for. I then sent a letter to Daniel Silverman's and this was ignored. Would just like some advice on what my next course of action should be.
  20. Just had a telephone call from 02031951181 when I rang the number just heard the last word been Collect. Put this on to the internet and says its Capital One Finance so assume what I heard was MT Collect. What I cant understand is where they have got my mobile number from as this is a new number probably the same fraudelent way they get your bank details.
  21. Dear Ell-enn I never buy anything off the internet but what I couldnt understand is that they never tried to take anything from my Barclays account which was the bank I was at when I took out the loan but as soon as I changed banks they then took out £75 in 3x £25 instalments. I suupose I was one of the lucky one's as I have heard stories on here where they have wiped someone's bank account out. They have not taken anything since but I am still wary everytime my salary goes in.
  22. Dear Ell-een No i had only opened the account about two previous to my salary going in and had not been on the internet what was so mad the bank wouldnt accept it as fraud they said because I owed them money it wasnt classed as that. When I asked them how have they got my card details with Lloyds TSB when I banked with Barclays when i got the loan and they couldnt answer. I emailed Capital One and told them I would be reporting them for fraud the email came back as not a recognized website even though I had emailed them before with the same address. The last I heard from them was last July when they said my account had been passed to Daniel Silverman I sent him a letter saying I would pay £40 a month and thats the last I have heard. I havent heard anything from this awful MT Collect or anyone else.
  23. Dear azzadle I am in the same position as you but I havent heard from them since last June when they took £75 [EDIT] from an account I had only had opened for a week. When I took out the loan with them I banked with Barclays this new account was with Lloyds TSB so still dont know how they managed to get the debit card details. When I emailed them on the address that I had done several times before telling them I would be reporting them to the police [EDIT] the email came back as not recognized I havent heard a thing from them since not even from this MT Collect or anyone else that people have mentioned on this site.
  24. I really dont know what my account will be at now havent heard anything from them for nearly a year. I havent had any texts or phone calls from anyone but that dosent mean I wont at some stage cant believe this company is still trading they are in the same league as minicredit.
  25. I have found out who they are acting for. They are acting for Oakam a loan company which I have a dispute with. They are nothing to do with Capital Finance One.
