Large barclaycard debt (old)
phil_nottingham replied to phil_nottingham's topic in General Debt Issues
Bump..... -
I had a very large barclaycard debt which totalled more then 25k, this was chased by many a DCA without success on thier part and most recently by leeds loosers Lowell. Having advised them this was statue barred they have since written to me they have closed the account etc etc and the balance is now 0.00 Now my question is purely accadamic.... My original debt was on a credit card which had a high limit (14k) i managed to double the amount owed on it (this being a quirk of the direct debit system and the way payments were allocated when i had the card) If the original agreement was regulated under the CCA etc and the debt then went above 25k would it still be regulated as such or would that no longer apply?

You wont get legal aid to set the ccj aside, you can download the form and do it yourself this afternoon!, you really shouldnt expect to much help from other bodies on this. So get the required forms and get it set aside, theres a small fee to pay -

capquest statutory demand for a £260 debt?
phil_nottingham replied to smartyandsassi's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
i was under impression you can only do a SD for over 750, since you cant make someone bankcrupt for less then that. Looks like Crapquest has messed up big time! -
Apparantly they state when you call them and discuss "donald" they tell you that he has the full backing of the law to collect debts when he visits premisies! I couldnt stop laughing...
