  1. I think it is in their T&C's that they can offset funds from your current account to your credit card if you have missed a payment. We have a Lloyds CC and current account and I am sure I read something about it.....most banks have it, to be honest.
  2. After all the help GuidoT has given you, that is completely out of order.
  3. I would send them another LBA referring to your last correspondence.

  5. It is good to hear that the FOS is working - court fees are a lot of money to find for a lot of people knowing that it could be a while before they get them back. Enjoy the money
  6. How long did the process take? And well done I presume you didn't get the 8% statutory interest?
  7. Send your LBA - stick to your timetable.
  8. Also meant to add, you should get an account from Nat West or the Co-Op
  9. Ask them in writing why they are closing your account. You may also want to contact the FOS (see that link I gave you above).
  10. It appears to be anything up to £750 they are settling after LBA stage at the moment. Anything over that, people are getting UP TO £750 put into their account as a 'goodwill' gesture.
  11. I sent my LBA on 1st Feb and have had no response.....the swines!!
  12. Bloody hell Les, just seen this, that is fantastic news. I am so pleased for you and you REALLY deserve this. Love to you and your family xx
  13. Morgy, have you got a paypal fund set up yet? Can't see one but maybe I am being dense!
  14. It will start from the date it was Deemed Served which will be on your documents you get from the court.
  15. Yes, you need to pay them when you hand the claim in unless you are exempt. What Barty means is don't bother sending another LBA to them unless it is a few months before you can afford to claim.
  16. For some reason, deep in the depths of my brain I seem to recall Lloyds not signing for anything, hence it will not show up. Will check mine, see if it tracked.

    Start court proceedings.
  19. If these were your only charges, you do not need to request your statements - assuming you knew the date they were debited. Start at the first, preliminary letter: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/671-2-letter-preliminary-approach.html
  20. what did the order dated 13th December say?
  21. The thing is, this is NOT common for Lloyds.....and you should retaliate if they have closed your account simply for claiming charges. Were you in debt with them, outstanding payments etc?
  22. Did they say why they were closing your account? Have you read this thread? http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general/63646-alliance-leicester-fined-fos.html
