she got paid monthly basic pay £470.15 didnt earn enough to pay tax or national insurance but paid £7 for union

she was told by HR that she earnt £1 less then the criteria for them to pay maternity allowance @BankFodder think it was just spent on everyday bills etc because she went on maternity in march and the 1st payment they paid was in augest she honestly thought it was her money to spend as there was no payments for the 1st 5 months would also like to add that when she was working there she had to sign a time sheet every week to be paid so why would they pay her if no authrised time sheets had been submmited by her employer

Hi all i would like some help, advice or info regarding over payments from an employer my wife worked for the local council at a school for 13hrs a week for 4 and a bit years, Last year she become pregnant and continued to work till april 2014 when she took maternity leave she was told she didnt earn enough money so she wouldnt qualify to be paid materntaiy pay, instead she was paid from the local job center, in august 2014 her employer paid wages into her account because she works for a school and it was during the 6 weeks holidays she thought the money was hers as how could the council make a mistake they paid her till march 2015, In march when her maternity leave was up she decided to not to return to work and handed her notice in which she then received a letter from her employer accepting her resignation and a final pay of what was owed to her. We have now received a letter from her old employer this week stating that in august 2014 the employer transferred there payroll over which resulted in my wife being paid and as it was a mistake they are now asking for the money back within 21 days and also the payments started august 2014 its now august 2015 why has it taken them so long to see this as this was clearly there mistake which they say in the letter. Now my wife is out of work and i have just started a new job we clearly can not pay the debt all in one go like there asking. Where do we stand on this issue? Many thanks for your help

it dont say obsoverd time just says contrravention 06 parked without displaying a ticket at 16:39:53 ticket machine is say 60-70 meters from car my ticket purchased at 16:42:00

so does that mean i have a case or not these rip off councils taking libertys 2 minutes to walk to a machine

Hi all i recently got a ticket for parking at the local shops i parked up went to the ticket machine returned to my car and had been issed a pnc i have appealed the pnc stating the time the ticket was issused was say 18:07:37 my ticket was purchased at 18:09:10 i had to walk to the ticket machine and back it took just 2 mins surely your allowed a amount of time to get your ticket ? so where do i stand is there a set amount of time allocated to get your ticket has this happened to any1 else and whats my chance of winning the appel many thanks

Hi all just want some advice again from this great forum again this time its for expenses claim from the local council i get a call from the council a few weeks back saying im getting a new refurbishment kitchen result i think as never heard nothink about this before. monday morning comes all suits turn up at the door doing servays etc measuring. ok your haveing a new kitchen ,bathroom and electric wiring ,boiler radiators , starts in 3weeks time ok we think result new kitchen etc work starts on the 4/8/14 still aint complete yet so every day my family me wife 4 children and 11 week old baby sitting in the front room from 8am to 6pm when they finish we can use tolit etc and sort of chill out so heres the issuse the washing machine gets put back in the kitchen only every friday night so we have to use laundrette every other day also we have no cooking faciltys except a kettle to make babys bottles the gas pipe only being moved on the 15/8/14 cooker still not in today as you can imagine its a total nightmare having floor boards up ceilings ripped down no lights downstairs for 2 weeks so we have to eat so we have been eating takeaway every night which you can image is now mounting up and is not cheep so i phoned the council and just said could i have some advice as to if i can claim anythink back for my meals and washing which they said no i cant. i think this is wrong i have no way to eat or feed my children without a kitchen so takeaway meals is the only option i have so can i claim for my expenses ??? many thanks

Hi all just want a bit of advice for the minute ok i started working for an agency last may sub contracted to tesco i told them my wife was pregnant from day 1 after 6 months working with agency tesco took me on on the /02/12/13 so i work direct to them now i told them my wife was pregnant and was due to give birth in june and arranged Paternity leave it was all booked up when the time come i was then told i do not qualify as ive not worked there long enough even though ive worked in the same place for 12months + . anyways i took 14 days off unpaid leave not Paternity leave. so i lost 2 weeks wages. the question is now u can take normaly Paternity leave up to 1 year after the baby is born .so once i have worked there for the allicated time can i then say i want to take my paid Paternity leave now think ive now been employed directly for 34 weeks any one know where i stand ? many thanks

thanks for the letter i emailed it to the ceo got a phone call within 4 days the took £40 of debt off gave me another £40 got another call to check if it worked and i said i did relly want the debt riton off so they said we will add another £40 credit and take £50 off which they did then said they take another £40 off went and topped up today and they took the whole debt off £80 and gave me another £90 lets hope this is the higher managments way of aplogising land not another error that they will try and take back next year thanks all for help writing letters and help

yes please mate id still like a complaint as it clearly took the mickey what i done on the phone and driving everywhere i know the manager gave me £40 on the electric but heres another thing he said if i get the other £40 i can keep it if not he will personly add it again hahah and i said what do you mean if .youve gareenteed its already still there .also when i spoke to him i said id like to make a complaint and he said hed reopen my old complaits as hed already closed them the other day so why did he close them befor we got a resolution another liberty . he told me that if i email the complaint to the complaints department it would be him that deals with it so yes please mate if you dont mind and got time can you put my words into a complaint that i can mail them many thanks scully
