  1. What time scale should I be receiving the DQ from the court? I've had nothing since the last letter I received above.....not entirely sure if there is some sneaky goings on happening?
  2. Dial direct should be dealing with this, they're the ones you paid your money too surely? I'd be making a complaint you're getting mugged off. https://www.dialdirect.co.uk/makingaclaim/making-a-motor-insurance-claim-guide/
  3. Have you moved further away from their gym? How much are we talking each month? Can you reduce the membership package at all? How much longer is left to run on the membership?
  4. Not entirely sure what this latest missive is all about, and I have no idea why they are telling me that I can't view the deed of assignment, I never even asked for that? What is interesting is their take on the claim and that I'm in breach of CPR 16.5 (2) for not giving them a reason for disputing the claim and simply contesting the legality. So they seem to be trying to intimidate me by stating that they will get a Judgement by default..... these lot are really beginning to make my teeth itch' I've ever asked them to prove that a debt is outstanding, I've simply asked them to provide evidence that they have all of the correct documents in order to receive payment, and so far they have failed to do so. But on the bright side, I still get a discount, and I can pay ion two easy instalments of £150. Still waiting for the DQ from the court, just off to work will check in over the weekend. Thank you for all your help so far....Overdales Conf.pdfOverdales Conf.pdf
  5. Here's their DQ, landed on the mat today. Waiting for mine now, how long do I have to respond to the DQ? Overdales DQ.pdf
  6. I'd be inclined to not poke the bear, we all know what they get up to, and they will continue for as long as they are able before legislation tells them to pipe down.
  7. Don't worry about the link Hannah, it is simply confirming what DX said, ignore RLP, there is no identifiable loss, they received the goods you took, they (RLP) can't claim £165.
  8. You haven't moved since you were furloughed and took the payment holiday have you? Can you scan and post up everything you have received, removing ALL identifiers, reference numbers, QR codes, barcodes etc. upload up to one PDF file. I know you said you took this out pre 2007, what year was it 2002?? Earlier?? DX will be along later with others who will give you the best advice on what to do next, have you acknowledged service of the claim form yet? You have until the Friday 3rd June by 16.00 to Acknowledge Service. You'll be perfectly fine, nowt to worry about. Do you have evidence of writing to them? Keep everything in writing, keep a diary of events, if/when you post anything obtain 'proof of posting'' which is free from the PO counter, this will be your evidence.
  9. Well done for getting your finances straight....and buying a house! Are you on the voters role at your new address? Have you ever had a Tesco loan?
  10. They are just letters that their computers spit out at timed intervals, they have absolutely no idea where you are in the debt collection cycle until you contact them (which you won't be doing) and then they tell the computer to start printing another set of lame missives.... Unless your parents are opening your letters and reading them, then they won't know your business. You'll just seem popular.... In all seriousness, they are only letters from powerless DCA's, with empty threats and words, most of them won't come knocking on the door, and if they did, would be given short shrift as they are on very thin ice turning up unsolicited begging for money. Hiding from debt isn't a solution, so switching bank accounts IMO, won't stop them from travelling down the route they are doing, no. YOU are in control, NOT them, YOU call the shots and they dance to your tune, this isn't the 1980's where DCA's stuck their foot in the door and told you to sell your kidney to pay up....... You have much more legal rights than them.
  11. As DX says you can manage this yourself, it's REALLY simple, you don't need a third party to get involved and confuse things. Plenty of help and excellent advice all here under one roof.
  12. Have you thought about transferring the balances of those cards to interest free cards for the maximum amount of time you are able? Some CC's do interest free for 24 months whilst you will have to maintain payments each month to those cards to keep the zero & interest, you won't be incurring interest at ridiculous % rates.
  13. You could if you wish, send them the SB letter, IF you haven't been in comms with them in the last six years OR made any payment. Alternatively, if there's been zero comms within the last six years, file 13, ignore them and carry on with something much more interesting such as snail racing or watching paint dry.....
  14. And you can definitely get the thought of Bailiffs out of your head, you are a million light years away from that even popping up on the horizon. The worst that will happen is a shed load of deforestation will land on your doormat with begging letters from powerless DCA's who think they're bailiffs, but in truth they nave no more legal powers than next doors goldfish. You just need to relax, and communicate with your creditors now about the change in your circumstances.
  15. When you say Vet board, do you mean these guys? https://www.rcvs.org.uk/concerns/
  16. Hi Stu, yes they got back to me to query a name I have used on the request form, it was the name I had during my service, which was changed on discharge which the MOD are aware of, my GP wasn't, and assumed I had made a mistake on the form.....which is unlikely as it's both forename and surname that has been changed. I have asked that they inform me when they receive the documents so I am able to make an appointment to see the Dr and view them. I will confirm if they need this request in writing, tomorrow. Thanks again!
  17. Anything other than the truth. Wasn't the Anthrax Jabs, or Anti Malaria tablets.....
  18. DSL spouting utter nonsense and thinking they're Bailiffs by using big words. IGNORE them, although for their immature response I'd be very inclined to be reporting them to the relevant authorities for their use of certain terminology. As for the Vet, I'd be finding another one, and then starting a dialogue with them and coming to some arrangement, have you gad a second opinion from another vet as to what they would have done in this particular situation with the symptoms your dog presented? That missive from DSL has really got my back up, ''Pre litigation survey'' Absolute twaddle, they wouldn't know litigation if it hit them on the backside, what children.
  19. Response from HMCTS acknowledging receipt of my defence and to wait until they, (HMCTS), inform me of what will happen after they have been instructed by Lowlifes.
  20. Is it these clowns? DSL If it is these fools, DSL in Redditch, then they are most definitely NOT bailiffs. they are a tin pot powerless DCA... Have you scanned and edited what they have sent you?
  21. Who is the DCA please, and most definitely ignore them they are completely powerless to do anything. Their silly missives are spat out by a computer and have no human interaction short of the postie putting it through your letter box. Take a step back, start from the beginning, do you consider the vet carried out unnecessary work. didn't carry out the work a vet would have reasonably have been expected to carry out, inflated the cost?? What's the story? As above scan and post up what you have received, but ENSURE you remove ALL IDENTIFIERS!
  22. IGNORE the DCA who is it? What is the vets complaints procedure and have you exhausted it? Complaining about a vet WWW.CITIZENSADVICE.ORG.UK What to do if you have a complaint against your vet for negligence or misconduct.
