  1. Did they come outa nd do a First Visit??? Was it passed for contract. I would be demandin all the money back from them.... Stay well clear of these cowboys, the people in the office dont know these engineers, dont employ them, and dont know what they are up to.... its a wonder he didnt tell them he fittd anew heat xchanger. As Les said, the fact you have 2 boilers shouldnt matter, end of the day, i bet it was them that marketed you, gave you the impression they were Corgi, when infact they are a company independant from Corgi, called GREEN INSTALLER LTD.
  2. MEM is PaydayUK and Monthend money 247moneybox is owned by Active securities. 2 different companies. ps poster... you ever called PaydayUK.... yu thru to an agent in a minute or so.... you ever rang 247..... try 30mins minimum to speak to someone.
  3. The above fee is scandalous, unfair, and undoubtedly sheer profiteering! Under the laws companies cannot profit from penalty charges. It does not cost a company £5 for a declined card transaction.... infact the cost is zero..... Mini credit is in effect claiming they tried to debit the acount 63 times. i would firstly contact the bank and ask them how many times mini credit attempted this. They will most likely only threaten door step visits, and send to debt collectors, cos they know if some of their charges were challenged n court the judge would scrap a lot of them.
  4. im no legal eagle...... but they do state the car is being sold for parts or repair..... really the fact the car is being sold as faulty, surely you shouldve had a quick check done on the car. I wish you good luck.
  5. they arnt the easist to deal with.... pay 1mth plus interest, which is 1% each day i think..... it then remains to be seen wheather they would take you to court..... yes they will pester you, thrash your credit file, but not tooo sure if they will go the distance.....
  6. dispte the debt, and refuse to pay..... swinton done the same with me, wanted over £70, after about 18mths they gave up, and started harassing someone else! sorry!
  7. to start with they charge her £5 for every failed card transaction..... this is an illegal charge that would not hold up in court. They cannot profit from charges.... ask them how many of these £5 charges they charging and immeiately dedct that from the balance. Its costs them nothing to process a declined payment.
  8. a totally unprofessional company..... run by someone who's knowledge is in the property market. they have broke so many rules since their inception. Corgi Homeplan is run by a company called Green Installer based in Scotland.... SOmehow they get this data, and used to send out the paperwork under Green Installer.... Obviously not hughe take up, as people never heard of them..... Now for breach 1...... They amended their plan to Corgi Homecare, and started sending out paperwork. Registered Gas Men started complaining to Corgi, as they felt Corgi were directly targeting their business. Corgi were informed who denied knowledge of this.... As a result and an invesitgation, Corgi Homecare's website was temporarily shut down ( i imagine an Injunction or threat of legal action). Corgi also released a statement. During the next few months Corgi HomeCare reappearred, having secured a license from Corgi to use the Logo and the name...... highlighting this is the only association between the 2. So here comes breach number 2..... HOMECARE is TM by British Gas...... British Gas obviously warned them, but they failed to comply, and subsequently went to court and won..... in this time, it seems this company weren't able to send letters out promoting the product. Now how unprofessional is this wereby a company fragrantly abuses copyright on 2 fronts????? make your own mind up!
  9. Read your credit agreement.... no where on the agreement is their a provision to extend the loan. Ask your bank for a letter stating they didnt attempt. Keep emailling them, and offer they a full and final settlement of £150. thats what i offered and kept emailling them every 30days, advise due to their credit agreement etc you will complain to the OFT, FOS..... They eventually accepted the £150 on provision i withdrew my complaints against them.

  11. no case..... Going into someones house, you dont know their mental state. you dont know what they may accuse the other of doing. I work for a gas company and regulary we would get women asking for women only engineer, when i worked for a taxi company, again women wouldve asked for women only drivers.... is this discrimination??? I know one driver got freaked out that baly he bought a hackney at great expense, all because one day a women got in the car, rubbed her hands over his head/face touched her breast and claimed if she ddnt get a free fare she would report for sexual assualt. Cery touchy subject, possibly something like this has happeed with the tradesman before therefore he will only enter when both 'partners' are there.
  12. firstly if you gave other people as reference, they can contact them and ask them to tell you to contact them. they cant say why. they cant contact your employer either. breach of data protection. they can take you to court yes, thy can obtain a ccj, if ou fail to pay that, they can take you to court again, asking for th JUDGE to arrest your wages...... the JUDGE is the only person that can do this.
  13. Sky: no problems here, but remember whoever you go with, you ill be entering a contract. If you miss a payment with sky they normally cut you off til you pay up.... be cut off long enough they will cancl and charge a fee. BT: may ask for a deposit.
  14. at the very least Elephant are entitled to a cancellation fee.... Ive been with Elephant for 4 years, and have had no problems..... i have missed the odd DD, but they just spread they payments over the year..... and on hearing hat some people go through with other companies, i say 10 out of 10 to elephant..... obviously never had to claim, o cant comment on that!
  15. As happy as i would be, i dont this Quick Quid is the worst.... There are companies like Payday Express, Mini credit, Micro credit, Tooth fairy, Cash Genie that need serious investgating.... those five imo are the worst and do as they want when they want
  16. never dealt with CG, but did do repayment plan with them, and they were really good and easy to do. What angle have you used to your repayment plan?
  17. Gazprom already has a license to sell gas ad elec in the UK. sure they got it a couple of years ago, cos rumours did circulate the would make a bid for BG then the rumours was on Scottsh and Southern but nothin materailised.
  18. If the engineer ADVISES you must either have a powerflush or magna clean done, if you dont they ill not cover any water based parts on you boiler.
  19. i had the same trouble with Swindlers, but i just ignored them, and eventually they understood they werent getting a penny!
  20. you ned to contact BG about this. While your account will be in your name and how payments... this account is in the occupier.... system confusion no doubt!
  21. i wouldve though they can charge interest for 14days after due date, at which point they must default me..... saying that i havent recieved as much as a late letter or a default letter. i wonder what the £60, and £50 and £30 charge actually covered??
