This is just one of their STANDARD Letters. Its up to them to supply you with proof. Its not up to you to tell them how you will be contesting the alleged debt. Ignore it and let them breach the CCA. They know the law and are bluffing in the hope you will back down -

Bet Mr/Mrs P Edwards didnt call. Did they. The number of times I have made tea for his visits is incredible. I have even had my tape recorder running along with my video camera. He is a very naughty man making thousands of arrangements and not keeping them -

NCO regularly send these postcards out. This man must be busy because he promises people the length and breadth of the country he will be calling. DO NOT RING THEM. In the highly unlikely event that he does call tell him to get off your prmises and if he refuse call the police. -
They are the ones saying you owe the money. Let them prove it.

Try ringing it from a call box if they dont say who they are then ask for someone by name apologise when they cant get him and say I must have dialled wrong number who is that anyway. Its worth a try:)
