Past experiences with the Spicester have shown that his knowledge of all things is in fact scant, often inaccurate, biased and generally patronising to the extreme. He knows a few things about few subjects and even then his knowledge shows a deplorable lack of depth or indeed relevant facts to shore up his ignorance.

We are no doubt referring to Black Adder being visited by Lord and Lady White Adder, Puritans in the extreme, to discuss Bladders' inheritance. On the menu is turnip, and nothing else!

 

During the course of his culinary preparations Baldrick discovers a turnip that looks like a 'thingy,' and goes on to reveal that this is a coincidence, as he has a 'thingy' that looks like a turnip.

 

The meal proceeds (mashed turnip) and it transpires that Lady W will only eat RAW turnip ... and the only raw turnip available is ... the turnip shaped like a 'thingy.'

 

Anyway, the pasties were great ... and since then I have been busy swotting away, and have just submitted my completed portfolio for my adult learning teaching course ... fingers not crossed as I already know that I have passed.

 

Bookie is wrong - I know lots of stuff about lots of things, although it is true that I don't know everything about everything ...

 

And congrats to me old mucker the Crushster on his recent BA.
