Postal Order Dept: 01246 542 500

Phoned them today to check Postal Order "Cashed" date.

Operator very helpful.

You will need your Postal Order receipt with the Voucher id.

I just rang 01246542254,they put me through to lost postal orders,at 0124654 091.They were most helpful, told me to send a photo copy of the receipt, and they will send me a barcode message which the post office will cash. After weeks of struggling,i am finally getting somewhere. They also told me that the postal order I sent has definitely not been cashed. Thanks for the tip,Rinkydinkydoo.

What I said to Royal Mail is I pay for a signature to ensure delivery if I didn't depend on this proof I would send 1st Class.

SO IF THERE IS NO SIGNATURE - CLAIM...

Claim by letter or by using the P58 form from the Post Office counter?

You now have to phone 08457 22 33 44 and go through the queue menu system to speak to an adviser.

If I remember rightly, it is option 4, then 5. You will need the long number from the receipt.

If I don't remember rightly please could someone correct me for the sake of a correct record.
