Hi, I sent out my SAR letter today with the £10 fee, and while I'm waiting for a responce (wont hold my breath judging by some of the posts on here) I'll continue to read through as much of the site as I can.

I read all the guidance notes last night, but I'm still a little confused about what I can actually claim for. In the last couple of years I've had a lot (est. £1500 on the statements I have got) of £30 "Charge for clearing Direct Debit/Standing Order while overdrawn" but in the faq sheets it only mentions returned or unpaid Direct Debit/Standing Order. Do shabbey deem this as a service? Really hope not cos I wouldn't be in half the mess I am if these charges were at a more reasonable level.
