I have a couple of defaulted current accounts with main street banks. Both accounts defaulted back in 2009 and have balances of around £500 owed.I have attenmpted to make F&F offers to these banks but one never responded and one refused.I am about to send a SAR request to bth in order to see if there was illegal charges on the accounts. My question is though, should I also send CCA requests or is this negated by the SAR requst. Many Thanks in advance.

Current accounts are not covered by CCA '74 as there is no regulated agreement for them.

They are covered by the CCA '74. It's just that they are exempt from part V of the act which covers the form and content of agreements.
