We have the above scheme here in Birmingham and it must exist in other areas but maybe not with the same name.

If you are receiving most benefits - jsa, IS, Incapacity, WTC, housing and/or council tax benefit you qualify for passport to leisure.

It can be used to go swimming cheaper, go fishing, play golf, go to a council gym. Any events the council hold (local gardeners world weekend) you get discount on. Heavens I can even get £10 standby tickets for a maximum 2 people to go to the theatre just midweek.

The information should be available in libraries or leisure centres.

lol Great Yarmouth council do summing like that. They keep closing places down they run rather than help the community.

3 swimming pools closed in 6 mths. Now we have to Join the local leisure centre or even go to a local holiday park for a holiday to be able to swim.

OFT debt collection guidance

Please remember the only stupid question is the one you dont ask so dont worry about asking the stupid questions.
