Hi all,

I am in the process of applying for a debt relief order with CCCS. I am sending off my finals bits today, they needed a credit report which CCCS paid for. The reason I am getting a DRO is because, I have £12 a month to pay creditors so under the £50 they ask, I rent so I do not own any property, I have a car however my dad is the registered keeper n insurer so therefore I do not own a car.

My question is, once I apply for this and paid the £90 fee, what can I expect next? What excatly is the process? Can creditors still ring and do I just tell them I am on a debt relief order so they have to speak to xxx?

Thanks all

tell them you are subject to a DRO and give them the DRO number and not to contact you again. Assuming of course your application is approved, which is usually within 48 hours of paying the fee and the intermediary submitting the application.
