  2. Hi Caz as Nicsussex says , he knows whats happening in your area, and he has good advice bless:) LTSB are going as far as they can without actually going to court, its just a waiting game. happy claiming:) read read and read some:p more
  3. Hi Bcklndcb, My court date is 25th july, I had the same letter, read it and filed it:p they don't want to give me the £750 either, I keep checking! and from reading the posts LTSB take you right up to the court date. I am now of the mindset that they will be taking me all the way:( hey ho. read read and read some:p more Happy claiming:)
  4. Hi breedsey, I think you should send the new one, and as GuidoT has said [problem] will do their own interest, and as it is only £6 difference its just a small addition error. did you remember to change the date back on your PC? Happy claiming:)
  5. Thanks for that shoestring, would it not be an idea to ask for a copy of the ADDACS that persuded the FOS that the instructions had been carried out, mind as they are snowed under with all these bloomin people claiming charges:rolleyes: it could take months. your little tale has certainly got me thinking re the FOS, me thinks I shall carry on being the proverbial pain:D
  6. Hi Kazzie, the date is the date you signed it, ie todays date. was going to answer your 2nd question, but i'm not 100% I think no, (happy to be corrected;) ) but if you are handing it in ask at the time. don't stress post 39 q7,I read some where that it gets past on to the correct department. Happy claiming:D read read and read some:p more
  7. I agree demon;) but no one's owning up, I'm betwixt a rock and a hard place. The FOS have made me feel like I am being a pain for no reason. OK tis war, I shall be requesting hard copy proof:D from all involved with a 14 day time scale or else (what I don't know yet!) watch this space:p
  8. just took my own advice read read etc, see that the account is already closed, so they would have to send by cheque:)
  9. su2402 re your post 19, you can ask for the money to be paid by cheque. Have you got another bank account? if not get one:D
  10. Hi su2402 I think you will find they are standard letters, sent out as soon as you mention charges, I sent a nice letter to LTSB re my daughters account and a couple of charges, asking for refunds, no intention of going the court route, and just got standard letter back. so I thought sod it, we are now at the end of the 14days after sending the LBA same point as you, I will print off the POC, and my daughter will take it in to her local court. Don't bother ringing them, just winds you up and wont acheive anything, just progress with your claim:) remember you are not a person to the bank just a number:rolleyes: read read and read some:p more
  11. Hi all, I have an on going dispute with Nationwide, and the transfer of dd's between 2 of my accounts, NW did the transfer, but not one of the companies acted on the instructions:rolleyes: . All hell lets loose, phone gets cut off etc. did the complaint route with NW, who say they sent Email to all the companies and they could not be responsible for said companies not acting on their instructions. One company I spoke to said they had received no new instructions, only bounced dd as cancelled. So who's telling the truth? Sent all details to FOS, (prompts NW to offer £50) who's conclusion is "persuaded that instructions were sent to each of the originators" "agree that it is odd that none of the institutions in question "acted on the instruction received via ADDACS" "Satisfied that the instructions were sent, and that NW acted in accordance" "do not beleive this service could require that NW pay any conpensation to you. The amount of £50 has been offered by the society as a gesture of goodwill and I would urge you to accept it) ( this service should not have to make a payment, but the ensuing problems created by this service do:mad: ) "we do not look into a complaint where, in our view, it is clear that it will not succeed" Do I lay down and die after 5 months and accept £50? Do I question the FOS for proof of the ADDACS audit trail that persuaded them that the instructions were sent? Do I get in touch with each company, and ask for written proof of any activity on my account for that day in question re dd's? Or do I just give up, and forget all the hassle and problems created by all the companies not acting on NWs email, and being made out to be a liar, as all concerned seemed to think I was trying to pull a fast one:-| ? Any thoughts would be appreciated:)
  12. bookworm, you should be using the site "say NO to 0870:p mind you the receptionist of one company said she couldnt put me through to the DD bit I would have to ring yep you've guessed it the 0870 number:mad:
  13. sorry just thought, that was your poc, ignore 2nd part of my post
  14. yes breedsey, I'm sure you must have put it on some of the paper work, put it at the top of your list of charges to show that is the account the charges relate to, and also on the bit were you have written" charges to the claimants account namely, account no......" dont panic:p

  19. CONGRATULATIONS curlychic:D :D Way to go, consider yourself pinched:cool:
  20. Ossy you get your bank statements back, and the charges that the letters refer to will be on your statements, you do not need copies of the letters you then start the process of claiming back the charges as Nicsussex says read read and read some:p more good luck
  21. just had a thought, hsbc wrote to me to say they could not honour a dd from amber credit, and would be charging me £10 for considering it! I have the few remaining dd's with Nationwide and wrote to hsbc that as there was no dd set up they couldnt charge. No6 is this a point in case:confused:
  22. Hi Breedsey, the MSE calculator works out the 8% interest, I to used that as my charges schedule (started of on MSE) and by following the site step by step I now have a court date. I also messed up at the start and thought all was lost, but was guided through what I needed to do, also added a piece with my AQ from GaryH re the defendant knows I am litigant in person (yep little ole me:D ) . Did you post Charges letter and GuidoT letter? I'm off now to read the link in Nicsussex post 19 to keep on claiming:) read read and read some:p more
  23. Hi Breedsey, don't lose it, read read and read some:p more, the answers are all here, if you can't find what your looking for just keep asking questions, we are all behind you in our own way. If I can do it you can:D
  24. OK benjfrst, I know for a fact they will not close the account till all monies owed have been paid:( transfer all credits etc to your barclays account NOW, and request the od is taken off, no longer needed. this has no effect on your case, once they take the charges you start over again reclaiming them:D then you pay that in and close the account.
