  1. Thanks for the help on this! There are electronic locks on the doors to the apartment blocks to gain access to the apartment you also need an physical key, concierge have copies of these keys too. They avoided the question on dates and times so i've asked the question a second time. I don't believe they will be accuratly give me this information though. I am going to askif any internal investigation has been launched since my formal complaint and if CCTV has been checked as part of the process. The rep from the letting agency gave some watered down excuse as to how the pass must not have been wiped clean and the permissions were denied, apparently no security breach had occured. He also didn't supply a copy of the Policy and Procedures for the concierge staff, which i plan on asking for again. They haven't reported this to the police but have said that i should and they will assist how the police ask. I plan on going back and saying that i intend on doing thats why i require the infomation that he isn't supplying. I don't believe any apartment is classed as full service but i couldn't be 100%
  2. Thanks, gone back and said i want to take a look at the agreement in place with Lex on this issue and asked that they simply pass my name and address on to the company that sent the charge through.
  3. Haha politely and forceful. Update : I got this from my employers: "I can confirm that no admin fees will be deducted from your salary at this stage, however if we do not receive a confirmation of charge cancellation from you, issued by UKCPS in the next couple of weeks then the admin fees will be applied. If in addition, the lease company bills us back for settling the PCN GCL11023 then our payroll team will have to deduct that from your salary as per company car policy, as we are not responsible for the driver’s fines. If you wish to appeal the fine, please do so by contacting UKCPS and not the lease company as it’s not them who have issued the fine." I then got a screen grab of the company policy which apparently applies, See attached. I intend on going back with the following: "In reference to the attached parking charge this is not unlawful or a motoring offence. The parking charge is not a fine, and the way I was parked wasn’t in breach of any motoring laws. Therefor this wouldn’t apply to the section of the policy that has been sent, there is no keeper liability and I am not liable to pay the charge. I would advise neither you or Lex pay the private parking charge as the NTK was not within 14 days of incident that they allege to have happened, but I cannot stop you. I would be happy for you or Lex to pass my name onto them for them to contact me directly. What is the agreed policy that Lex mentioned? Have NCC group agree to pay private parking charges(again, this is not the same as a fine)?" Is there anything else you think is worth mentioning? Doc1.pdf
  4. Thank you, understood. I will confirm the policy details then get in touch with the leasing company letting them know politely that i won't be paying it. Thanks again for you help!
  5. Hi, My leasing company recently got a charge through from UKCPS, I've attached all correspondence in the PDF. Although i would usually ignore this as the NTK had not been received within 14 days the lease company has suggested that they are going to pay the fine and invoice my company/me (as this is a company car). Can you offer any advice on how best to proceed? If you require any more information please let me know. As always, thank you very much for taking the time to look into this. 1 Date of the infringement 29/10/19 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date]15th November 2019 3 Date received 15/10/2019 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? Yes 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? Unsure, not that I can see displayed on the letter 6 Have you appealed? {y/n?] post up you appeal] No 7 Who is the parking company? UKCPS 8. 6. Hi, Thank you for the info, I used Lockyard Lane as that is the location that SiP stated. I've also been down to the road and got some images to the entrance. I also spotted some council signage on a lamp post by the entrance to the lane, i am unsure if its anything to do with the parking directly. I've uploaded just in case. I also received another notice demanding money. Also uploaded. Let me know if you have any further questions or need any more information. Thanks, Jack ……………. @ericsbrother What would you recommend me to do next? As mentioned before this is a company car, and my work has asked that i either pay the fine or contact them directly to appeal. I believe an admin fee is applied to every letter that is sent to the leasing company. Thanks again for your help. Doc1.pdf
  7. The land was residential, there seems to be construction work taking place there. I parked there when it was late at night and didn't see the signs as it is a street with poor lighting. More pictures of the area to follow... So i will pose the following to the council... "Hi, I was just wondering what the status and the development addresses are for Lockyard Lane, M46JN? Thanks," Forgive me if this is a bit vague, I'll be completely honest, I am unsure of what exactly it is i am asking for. XD
  8. Yeah, this is a company leased vehicle.. The notice to hirer is addressed to my company. I am waiting to get this returned in my name. Is there any other documentation i should be expecting? Thanks.
  9. Appreciate you taking the time to look into this for me! Would you recommended i ignore all further correspondence?

  11. Appreciate your post and the link, I have looked and put my name down for the 90pcm parking space. Just waiting on them to provide me with a space. I have dropped them an email asking if they can provide anything temporary until i receive this space, I am just worried on what to do in the meantime regarding all the threats etc that are causing unnecessary stress. Cheers, Jack
  12. Is there anything i can say or do to stop the threats?
  13. I seem to be getting daily verbal threats that my car will be towed and that i will be charged £8.50 per day on top of my rent for parking in the bays. There is no signs in the carpark that say this though?? Can they do this? Is there anything i am able to do to stop it? Cheers!
  14. I received a quick reply from Manchester life stating the car park is full and a link with an alternative. The alternative is around a 5 minute walk from my flat and is £1080 for a 12 month pass (paid upfront). My flatmate currently pays £75pcm. With the significant difference in price, would it be fair to pose the argument that this is to expensive?
  15. Hi Stu, I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond to my post! I imagine my flat mate signed the Car Parking Agreement but I haven’t had sight of this. I have already complained but, it is like you said, I have no evidence of the verbal promise of a space. I’ve sent them an email asking them how I go about renting a new space and if they could send the parking agreement to me. I expect to get a response of “there are no spaces available”. It has been mentioned earlier that as it’s not a criminal act, it is therefore not illegal. Is this not the case? I’m fairly certain that all the car parking spaces on the car park are rented to residents from Manchester Life. Also, I haven’t been parking in a numbered bay, I’ve been parking in Service vehicle bays, Taxi bays and unmarked areas of the car park. Thanks again and let me know if you require anything further!
  16. I am not 100% on the details, but I've only ever spoken to Manchester Life when signing the letting agreement. It is the concierge team, who work for Manchester Life, who put the paper on the car. I can only assume that both the apartment and car park is owned by Manchester Life. In the Doc4.pdf attached, I've put some pictures of the rental agreement with all pages that reference parking! Doc4.pdf
  17. Again, appreciate the response! Yeah, it was a representative from Manchester Life that placed the note. Manchester Life are the property developers who own the building and the car park (apologies for not being clear on this earlier). I’ve since moved it into a servicing bay so it is obvious that it has been moved. I’ll make the request now for information now and I’ve taken a look through the rental agreement to see if anything is mentioned in there and it says people who have been allocated a space need to sign a separate parking agreement (which I haven’t signed)! Thanks again!
  18. Appreciate the response! It's a apartment letting company called Manchester Life. Should i worry that one day i might come to my car for it not to be there? Can they just have it removed like that or would they need to go through a legal process first?
  19. I have a question that I hope some people on here will be able to answer. I moved into a newly built apartment block around 18 months ago, it was stated verbally that one parking space would be guaranteed and that another would be allocated once all other tenants have had moved in. With this agreement in mind, I allowed my flat mate to have the space and said I would find alternative parking until a space was allocated to myself. It’s now become apparent that this was a ruse to get us to sign on the dotted line. I am still attempting to get them to allocate me a space but this seem futile. After significant damage to my car on the surrounding streets, I’ve since started parking in a quieter area of the gated car park, which doesn’t restrict access to any entrances or exits. Whilst occupying this area of the car park I was left a soggy piece of paper which stated my car was illegally parked and would be legally removed within 48 hours of the date (there was no time mentioned, also no signs around the car park). I’ve since asked if they have a photograph of the notice on my car as some of the content on there was illegible, but they said this wasn’t available. This made me wonder, am I infringing any laws? If it was possible for me to arrive one day to see my car not there? Am I safe to carry on parking there? Let me know if you need any more information! Intrigued to hear people thoughts on this!
  20. I've taken @ericsbrother advice and requested that I am named as the driver. Just waiting to hear back from my work and the leasing company. I have reattached the images. I apologises for keep missing the regs, thanks for looking out for it! I will notify you once i hear more from them. See attached. NTK2.pdfSignage2.pdf
  21. Thank you for your response! It sounds promising! Just to add a complication into this matter, the car is a company car and the letter is addressed to the company that it is leased from. The letter has been returned to them and it will now be address to myself / the company i work for. What effect would this have on the GDPR request? Should I still go down this route? Thanks again! J
  22. Hi, Apologies for not coming back to you sooner, I have been having trouble accessing my account. I have attached the signage that is around the area. Further to this, they have now sent the NTK, I have attached this also. This was sent to the leasing company and it is in the process of being forwarded to my self. Appreciate the help and adivce you have already given, please could you advise further? Many thanks, J
