  1. Just more bully boy tactics, I filed a couple of months ago and forgot to include my account number or send them a schedule of charges an they never even blinked an eye. Seems thy're constantly looking for new ways to delay the inevitable - that is to give us our money. God they annoy me
  2. Good luck with **** Scissorheart, know doubt you will find when you recieve there AQ that they are 'unavailable' for the entirety of november and maybe december AND would like an additional month to settle. Am afraid **** will likely ignore all of your letters and is doubtful the courts will do anything to speed up the process. If I were i'd look forward to a hearing sometime in the new year. My date is 28th Feb, no stay just the courts very very busy skb
  3. I fijnd the best spreadsheet to use for this is the one by Mindzai see thread http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/26172-mindzai-lucid-lloyds-tsb.html and the spreaedsheet is in post 22 Verzend.be - send files up to 1GB for free - CompoundSheet_v1.6.xls
  4. Hi Yep, accept as a partial payment and pursue the rest. If you want to claim contractual interest you need the dates upon which you were charged. As you dont have them about all you can do is spread them evenly from april 2001 to to when you closed your account. claiming 17.7 % apr should net you around £200 in interest skb
  5. Hi Stobbie looks like you've been charged ten times (80/8) giving a total of £200 in charges, so minus the £80 already refunded leaves £120 still owing. Its not to clear from your post but have you sent off your preliminary letter for repayment?? When did you send your SAR? The ICO are on the 'verge' of making a statement regarding bcards micorfiche so might be some movement there in the near future. Have you considered charging contractual interest on each of the charges??http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclaycard/22690-contractual-interest.html http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general/7252-new-way-looking-interest.html skb
  6. Hi Angie As its been a couple of months you can be kind and send them another LBA giving them 7 days notice to act and then file. This would be just a courtesy really as you are under no obligation to do so. As for changing address it wont make the slightest bit of difference as the bank has your update details etc. skb
  7. Hi, Dont think you need a template. Just send a covering letter stating that you are replying in response to the courts request for further information. Attach your complete schedule of charges and quote your claim number. Probably advisable to send a copy to barclays solicitors aswell. Is it just the spreadsheet that is missing or is there any other info that they require???? i.e what exactly did it say in the letter from the court skb
  8. The 40 days for Data Protection Act disclosure have now passed so am filing in the Information Commissioners Office complaints form. In section 6 'Details of Problem' I have wrote this Now I just need to photo copy the fob off letter I was sent together with the letters I sent them, bob them in the post and eagerly await a response. skb

    Aaz vs Lloyds

Hi Aaz, Yep you can hand write it but why would you want to?? Far better to use one of the excel spreadsheets found in the templates library and print off. If you dont have excel they are available online through vampiress'es chambers VAMPIRESS'S CHAMBER OF "CONSUMER ACTI...
  10. Ok, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and need to take my frustations out on someone. That someone is Llloyds and there little friends at ****. Am starting the ball rolling with a complaint to the OFT as it helps to vent my splein and put me into the complaining mood. In the section 'brief summary of complaint' I intend to write this The big question is who else can I complain to to get **** in the sh*t. skb
  11. Hi Kieron Bcard have yet to make an appearance in court yet, they're a tiny bit scared I think. Your next step is to compile your court bundle and send it off to the court and bcards solicitors. A copy is in the library. The letter you recieved from the court regarding your hearing date should have the deadline date for submission of your bundle so dont be late skb
  12. The twelve day deadline for receiving my true signed copy of contract ran out on friday so I believe they are now in default. Useless buggers skb

  15. I know how you feel I went through several banks before one would accept my application and that was for a basic cash card account at RBS. A credit check is not only to score your rating but also turns up any instances of fraud or bankruptcy, therefore they can run a check for the purpose of detecting fraud etc without relying upon your credit score to determine whether you get accepted for an account. Dont know anything bout the bad record of NI banks but in my experience they're all money grabbing w*nkers who are all going straight to hell, IMO. The key thing for you, much as I hate to say it is to get an account and make sure Nothing bounces, at least until you get your credit rating sorted out so if tht means going with an NI bank then that may be what you have to do. Still im by no means an expert and preach far better than I practice so am sure someone else may have better advise skb
  16. I think the key point is that the charges are unlawful and not illegal. If they were to actually go to court and it found against them and then they continued to apply their charges I think that would be a criminal act and hence illegal at whcih point they could be charged. This is why they dont go to court, i think
  17. Bank of Ireland basic cash account will only refuse your application if you areUndischarged bankrupt or have a record of fraud. Alos may close your account if a DD is refused 3 tiimes FSA - Consumer Information - Basic bank accounts
  18. Have you tried RBS they do a basic account with no checks. I even managed to get one. Not sure bout you being in NI but worth a try
  19. Hi Trudd If I were you id get the ball rolling as you can keep adding charges as they occur right up to issuing your court claim. In the meantime id shift your finances to a new account to aviod further charges. F*ck the fax skb
