Hi Charlotte, well she won't frighten me but she did stop my money due to the lies that she told, now i have to go through the job of appeals just to get my money,no rest for the honest.

Hi Lapsed, my JSA do not say anything about part/full time work, i asked the line manager about this and he said you can apply for both so long you are looking for work, so that proves she was making it all up, already sent off for a reconsideration just waiting on them now, thanks for the info.

Just a quick update, they have given me a sanction because the advisor said i did not not show proof of my job search so now without any money because of the lies of the advisor, i have shown proof of my job search to the line manager but it has already been stopped, so i have told him that i want a result of this abuse and lies from the advisor in question by friday or i will be contacting the area manager and the local MP by email and highlight the abuse that the staff dish out, will keep you updated as and when. thanks for the words of advice.

Never thought of that, but they would have some reply to come out with, whatever you say they will make up some untruth to tell you, but i will remember what you have said for when i see them next.

Hi all, thanks for all the advice, i have just come off the phone after 40mins making a complaint against the advisor the girl on the phone did tell me that if you apply for part time work only they would question my job seeking, but like i told her most of them were full time, i also told her that she refused to get me a manager when i asked for one, that did not go down well, i will get a copy of the complaint so will wait and see. thanks everyone for the help today will keep you posted on the outcome.

I showed her proof of all the jobs i applied for, the only thing she said was that i must provide proof of the ones that i applied for was full time, she told me if they are not all full time then my money would stop, which some are full and some are part,so my money will be stopped if i go up there or no.

Should i go back today at 4 without the proof of full or part time or leave it until next week, and just send some letters off today to complain.

I told her all what you have said, and she told me she has not got time to show me the handbook where it states that you must only apply for full time jobs, i asked for the manager and she said that there is none on duty, thats when i thought all what you have said is bull****.

I think you are right, she just told me to come back before four o'clock and prove that they are all full time jobs or my payments will be stopped, i have done all what it states in my JSA agreement so there is no trouble with that,i will just have to find some proof that she has just made it up.

Hi all, just had a bad morning with a new advisor at the job centre, handed in my work sheet, and she said is this it a piece of paper why not on UJM, i told her that i always write it down there is no problem with this with the other advisors, she than said she wanted proof of what i had applied for which is no problem i got them all on email on my phone, each date she asked for i had the email, she then got ****ty with me and told me i must show which ones are full time or part time because to claim JSA it must be full time only, do any of you know if this is true. thanks in advance.

Hi. could anyone help me, i have been picked for jury service, will this affect my JSA payments because i will not be available for work, or will it be ok because it is law that i must attend unless of course i have some health issues. thank you for any help.

Went back in today to sign on and saw a new advisor, I then said i thought this new system that was in place was because you saw the same advisor each time, he then told me that they have got a few teething problems with it but they hope to get it to work soon, think i have heard that before somewhere,

Well went back to sign on again today and asked about the new way to sign on, the evil bitch told me it was because this way you would get to see the same advisor each time. oh just great i thought i get to see the evil one each time. i then asked if all job centres are doing this she then said it is up to each job centre on what system they use.

Went to sign in today. went through all the normal talk and then she told me that from today, when i sign on every two weeks i will be given a new time each and every time i go to sign on, she then told me that this is to keep you on your toes,

I hope someone on here can help me a bit, i applied for my personal information and got it today, reading it i found that some of it is wrong in fact some are just plain lies and i have proof to back it up,what i would like to know from you great people on this site is who do i make a complaint to at the job centre, many thanks for your help, yesitsme,

Just went to sign on today all ok, gave in my worksheet she gave me a new one in return no mention of UJM just asked how things are going. looked on UJM for me saw that there was no jobs and said see you in two weeks.

How can they check what websites that you have been looking at. unless they have complete access to you pc they cannot know what you have been looking at apart from the universal jobsearch website.

just a small update to my plight. just had some info from the job centre the reason my money was stopped is that the advisor thought that i did not make a big enough effort to find work. i then told them what i had done. they then told me to write in and appeal. and by what he can assume is that i should be ok. i told him about the girl not giving me a new job search sheet and that i must do it online . he then said she was wrong to do this and he will send one to me. he also stated that it is not mandatory to use the universal jobsearch just yet. so thanks to everyone that has helped.

Thanks everyone for your help without your advice i would be lost. now i will have to find out how long they have stopped my payment for and when it will start again.

The only thing that i don't understand is why they don't let you know that your payment is being stopped. no warning at all.
