  1. what does your energy smart meter say your using per day in money.
  2. Even if they wanted to do anything, as soon as you reminded them about the above i think they would just forget about it as doing cash jobs for that sort of money the tax/vat man would be intersted in there books if they got wind of it..
  3. If its the cab acting as mediator or what ever there called for the dro then they get notified and ring you to let you no its been accepted. I put mine in at 9.30 in the morning and was rung up by the nice man from cab at 4.30 the same day to say it was all done and to stop worrying anymore.
  4. As soon as you pay the 90 for the dro then go to see the person putting it forward for you they then press the send button and it should be accepted within 24 hours normally. as soon as its accepted thats the end of anything you have listed on it and if anybody sends letter after that just ring them to remind them you have the dro and they will probably go, oops, didnt notice that on your account. I had 4 different places still trying to get money out of me till i rung them and mentioned dro then they all slowly crawl back into there holes. Was the best thing i had done for a long time and gave me and my oh a year of breathing space to try and get on top of life in general. keep the dro to hand just in case anyone knocks on the door for anything you have included for it then you just show them and of they go with smoke coming out there ears as they have just wasted there time and petrol to visit you..
  5. Yes i no how it feels and my oh nows the mascara side of it. Sometimes i look in the mirror and think to myself, i'm not living, i just exist...
  6. When i had mine done the bloke from the cab was great. i had a little to much disposable income so he juggles a few bits and said thats more like it then went on to say he will put it through with no problem. The cab can be very good for some things but a lot of it depends if you get to talk to someone thats up to date with things they can do. They have a lot of people that help them out but to many of them only no what they read in books and online when someone goes to them with a problem. Good luck, hope it all gets sorted.. Did they say if you can have the parking fine added to the dro?
  7. complaining to the council is a good idea just for the fun of it. it can be very long winded to actually get anywhere with them and there first answer to anything you send them will be something along the lines of what ever the bailiff tells them to say.
  8. And on the levy form it says pay in full or make arrangement to pay within 5 days or the goods will be removed but on the notice of bailiffs attendance it says return TODAY and may remove your goods, this was all on the same day. How can i use this as part of my complaint? I really want to dig out the smallest of things and blow them up a bit just to make as many points as possible.
  9. And if they get any other letter for the old tenant just get them to write -NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS- on them and put them back in the post box. they all get the hint in the end. Took me 2 years to get rid of them all from my current place after the last tenant left the country without paying anything for a year other than his rent.
  10. First of phone the court he was certified at and ask who his current employer is. His certificate will still be in the name of who ever he was with when he get it but they should have paperwork reguesting change of employer and the date he or she asked for it to be changed.
  11. Also, if they have just moved in if they get in touch with the council and let them no they are new tenants and date they moved in on then ask them to update there record and stop bailiffs from calling.
  12. You only need to prove that they are the new tenants then the bailiff should leave them alone
  13. What he gives you is still an extra income so will be taken into consideration. Is he on anything to do with where you live, bills, tenancy?
  14. But if the debtor was out at the time of leaving the levy then the bailiff would have no idea if the debtor was interested in making a payment plan.
  15. I thought he had to give notice to remove goods he had levied upon. Sure i read somewhere it was 7 days or 14 days notice but cant find it now.
  16. Yet another question just to clear this up in my head. can a bailiff leave a notice of distress and inventory (with my car listed) and charge a levy fee and return the same day to remove said car?
  17. I've just been doing some reading on the word unlawfulness as this was one of the words used to describe the bailiff and his actions. After looking up the full meaning of the word i'm trying to use what the meaning of the word is in my reply letter but the words illegitimate and ba***rd and born out of wedlock i think would be classed as slander or something like that lol. (sitting here wetting myself now)
  18. They have already admited to me today that they have it on file that in 2001 i requested to be removed from it but because there filing system at the time was just paper and not on a computer database so they had no way of remembering that i wanted taking of the tenancy. So because the rent has fallen behind again they will try and chase me if my ex does not catch up with it but as i was told today, if i'm taken to court over it i will be told to go home by the judge as not living there for 10 years is a goon enough reason to have no liability for the property any more, but i still want my name of it as there is to many debts being aquired there that i do not want to be dragged into as i have my own debts to play with.
  19. I no but trying to read and think and type all at the same time confuses me at the best of times. Got to do a seperate letter for my Mp to highlight the mistakes that the council made in there reply so she's up to speed without her having to try and work it out. If i do all the leg work then she's more willing to follow me and help when needed..
  20. No i don't have a copy as it was 2001, i've moved 5 times since then so paperwork is long gone. Housing association told me over the counter when i took the letter in originaly so was no letter as i was standing in front of them. I had forgotten all about it till i was warned she was being taken to court for rent arrears.
  21. If the charges are for the levy of the bikes then the charges wont stand as they are not your property but if he decided to be a twit then you mite need to find who ever owns them and get then to prove they belong to them. A bailiff will levy on anything in sight if he thinks it mite belong to the person he's looking for but 9 times out of 10 they get it wrong and you would have thought they would learn by now and stop taking other peoples stuff.
