  1. To be honest they have offered a compromise on an already vastly reduced laptop. You are right naughty of them to sell in that way, but they have said it was an error, admitted it and really now it is up to you wether to accept their offer or return the laptop for full refund. I have to say what else do you expect, as for a mistake they can not be forced into discounting it beyond what they offer. If not happy with their offer, return the lappy for a refund.
  2. Thanks for the advice:wink: It has to be simple for me to do it, hahahaha:!: ps. Orange, I am allowed to call my self simple as it is my choice !!!!!!! Your ceo office reps are not allowed to hint it (quote word stupid is in recording!!!!!!!! )when you staff have treat me so badly, As for the link you can bet on it, lots of readers here xx
  3. Suspecting this thread is a troll thread now. Not a hard issue with the advise given to understand is it.
  4. Well thats what you would expect from a ceo office who cared, but the majority of people reaching them just receive the same fobb off, despite an issue being simple or not their fault. Depends on their mood of the day or wether their is a fat chip on a shoulder upset at polite suggestion that their people make mistakes. OP update to show if they bothered to resolve, it would make a rare occassion to show a resolved thread
  5. Sent an emal recently to orange stating that unless I hear from them otherwise that they can be considered to be happy to have my recordings appear on you tube with no concerns from them. So far got no reply, so they cant say I have not warned them and play funny afterwards. They cant be bothered to reply, I have given them a chance to resolve finally so they have no concerns about their lying staff and fobbing off staff appearing to a tube near you soon:whoo: GOOD I like to play also as I think they think I do not have any such tapes:!: WRONG ORANGE,hahahahaha The corker is the ceo office rep themselves and is a must listen before anyone considers visiting an everything everywhere store in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You see you could gather that they think us normal trusting peeps, respecting what told by them ARE THICK OR STUPID from the replies I got. If the ceo office has this attitude then you would thnk orange really do not like the people who take out their contracts. Working on it now
  6. Orange place mass orders for cotton wool I suspect, to stick in their ears for their phones and horse blinkers for their eyes. They are appauling for ignoring complaints and experts at fobbing offs. !!!!!!!! Keep emailing them till they see sense as would you believe it in cases their store staff make mistakes on selling contracts, a valid form for them you would think or computer any how, but they like to try and enforce them funny enough. Come on orange dont you make enough mistakes to warrant stop playing silly buggers with your customers in cases like ops? Discount the sale or cancel the sale and get nowt and let them go to a competant provider:wink:
  7. Even just noticed on the three site it has a helpful guide as to what you can expect to get for your data, lists for instance if you use you tube how many clips you could roughly watch, how many emails to and fro etc......gives a good hint to help you get used to what you can do. Dont know if orange offered this sort of thing on their website, buy hey as their store staff and more than one phone sales agent, were selling it as either unlimited or no matter how pushed avoiding the mention of fair usage policy, then I wouldnt know would I that I needed to research it !!!!! No dramatic instant response from orange wanting to unreservedly apologise to me, but then again perhaps they dont do that to polite customers who have done no wrong and yat have mental issues made known to them, perhaps they only apologise to what they consider normal.......I can only guess as yet again I dont know as they tend to ignore xx
  8. Best of luck with it and please update as your issue could affect many others xx
  9. I am drooling over my samsung galaxy s2 and am happy to say I have nowt to moan about:jaw: What a nice feeling that reminds you how simple things should have been and can be xx ps. It did not come from orange or t mobile, you might have guessed that:lol::lol:
  10. On a positive note I got a new phone recently as decided to give my payg one to daughter who was drooling at the though of getting her hands on it. Well if I be honest the new phone was what she wanted, but then whilst ordered she added mum for xmas I would like a more music related one as in iphone and I though arggggghhhhhh. Have to admit I did suspect when it arrived after reading the reviews that I would fall in love with it, you see if had all but better of what sold by orange, as in the huge boxes and screen for me to read, simple to use and android so fast and it had great data, which I understood, so made informed choice and went for it. It arrived and straight away I was cooing over it, daughter came to look and I thought noooooo please mum wants it, and she added well I would like your other one till get a new one I want and I though wohoooooo New one I think its only a few months old so be happy and she is.......well who wouldnt Iphone 4 32gb. After such an awful experience with orange I actually got to the store I was planning to get to before popped in and had the hard sell, three. I know some posters have their issues with three and again all networks have problems to be fair at some times, but what matters is how they deal with it. You see I had had a three phone before and had nothing bad to say about them and the phone had been brilliant. So went in and it was on offer also, only paid 27.00 a month over 24 months for a ready for it samsung galaxy s2, with 500 mins, plenty for me and 1 gig data along with forget how many thousand texts, hahaha I probably only send one or two in a year at mo . There was an all you can eat, but on balance I chose this one and 1 gig is plenty for me, as no risk of son going mad with it which was what I was trying to protect with orange.. So I am happy bunny mobile wise and thought heres hoping this continues. Turned it on, it was fast supersonic in fact much better than the windows phone. Went onto the my3 website and found it supers simple to orientate and register Was able to sort dd date to suit me and able to do all that without phoning anyone !!!!! So playing with it and the three internet is fast and working, then turn to wifi as at home so may as well use that and I test it and call successfully to my house phone. Another words if reading this by chance you might think, hey so what you have a contract whey drool over it, but if you had read my thread and realised how very very distressed the process of dealing with orange was for me, then you would think thank goodness she is happy and found a network who fits the purpose. I went into the store told them what happened to put them on notice i am not godzilla, told them I record everything as a result and they had no problems. I did not have the relevant id on me so thought I am dashed here and will have to wait till next time, but as had phone before from them, they suggested they helped me do it online in store, then I could confirm I was happy and would get the protection of distance selling and a few days later it arrived. So three listened to me, made sure I was informed and answered questions which were correctly answered Got me a super dooper phone which I am glad my daughter is not nabbing off me and her having payg solves any worries of it it went missing etc.... at school, she is not moaning either she is getting an iphone 4 off me and I am happy with three and so wish rather than get jumped on in the orange store when made it clear I was heading to three, had they afforded me the chance to look around rather than the miss selling hard sell, they could have avoided me and none of this might have happened eh !!!!!! I would have kept the t mobile phone for my son in the long run had they just not treat me like poop over my accurate experience in their store. at orange for me to think oh god t mobile are related to them...... ................................. I would like to think orange will reply to me as previous post and maybe think that there are issues re their store staff and want to put it right, so as to prevent so many bad experiences wether store or over phone. At least phone sale gives you distance selling to get chance to realise if something is miss sold, but I ask why did they need to lay it on thick with unlimited etc........... when there was no need, they could have just been helpful, honest fully explaining the advantages whilst at same time warning of any issues a customer needed to learn about as in fair usage. Perhpas orange have been so involved in becomming one as in orange and t mobile and the issuse surrounding that that they have forgot what matters. its alright stating both networks as one gives greater coverage, but even on here and elsewhere already issues are appearing re one of the other company has removed mast due to no need for two, which has messed up someones reception as a result. Come on oange, everything everywhere, stop being so judgmental of people like me and admit you have faults, that does not make you fools or weak to admit, but gracious and you have proved you can do it when want to re the other thread. So apologise and compensate me without feeling you are being ripped off, it is me after all the customer who was let down, others have read this and I am sure woudl like to know a happy ending has been sorted. Schucks they will think if she is happy in the end with oranges final solution to my saffisfaction, we wont get to listen her recordings perhaps ? .................. In the meantime I am cooing over my samsung galaxy and very happy with three, just had to let you know as at first did not realise t mobile was same as orange and thought OMG they are all the same, well they are not as in my positive experience with 3, and surely orange would like to put right someone so wronged as no matter how sh***y a thread has been or experience, its the ending that matters xx and I need to be able to walk past an orange store when able to go out, without growling like a dog............
  11. If you can prove it which seems you can and it is not in terms and conditions, then you should ask for permanent resolution as they managed first time as in speed up with no fee to you for length of contract or a full cancellation of contract and refund of any monies paid so far. Both of you should email watchdog
  12. Hopefully they will have a record of your web talk to them. This forum is fortunate to have two great vodafone reps who seem to religiously almost answer and try to resolve such issues. They should pick up on it soon and help you, too late tonight I add, we need to let them have a little free time, hahahaha Heres hoping you get the help asap.
  13. I agree if you have family near by suggest what you would need to pay your family per load and include travel and time etc......for the four weeks. They might get a new machine to you quicker and cheaper for them
  14. You are right to look into it and be prepared hence the advice given to protect yourself just in case. In fact only today I had to ring income support re an issue which freaked me out due to my illness and I needed reassurance, THEY WERE LOVELY, GREAT AND HELPFUL, dwp and housing are not ogres ready to tear your head off I have learnt hence ring them when need more reassurance. I know mine was income support today, but hey one call and the stress was all gone. For know anyway as I am a stress magnet these last few months especially xx
  15. HB or SMI still has same criteria as funded by tax payer regarding declaring savings etc.....
  16. Youve been given plenty of advice, best wishes and good luck.
  17. You confused me prior you said you planned to go into private housing and claim housing benefits when had to once more, fair enough(future claims post one). now you say you do not intend to claim housing benefits again. If thats the case why worry, you only have to be careful if planning to claim once again when you have to justify to big brother, like we all do Peace man.
  18. I think a few caggers might be giving up by now:!: Pay spend what you want bunny, but dont quote me as I am not housing or dwp!!!!!!!
  19. You want an argument bunny and there is no need for it. Ring up housing and tell them what you will receive, record the call to protect yourself and tell them your plans. No one is judging you We all come across the various rules in housing or dwp and some have learnt how careful you have to be, hence I say record the call, it protected me in the past form an error which was not my fault. Hence a great reference if errors in advise are given, which lead you to do something on that advice.
  20. No one has said you are a scrounger, only you have stated what you feel posters judge and they dont. it is an open forum so you will get a varied viewpoints but they all appear helpful to me !!!!!!!!!! Everyone has posted helpful comments trying to pre warn you. Ring up housing benefit with your list of what you plan to do with it and to where and as said get from the horses mouth.
  21. Why should you not do what you want? You plan to take tax payers money to pay your housing and have to follow the rules like all of us. Do what you want it is your money, but be prepared you may come unstuck hence the helpful warnings.
