Mass cull of Cattles chiefs - 01/07/2009

Another tactic is if you have some large neighbours that you are freindly with is to call them and get the neighbours to eject them from the property. It quite effectivly puts them on the back foot if say 3 or 4 people turn up to suport the person being harassed. If they happen to get a bit roughed up mores the pitty
-
Then it is time for people to begin to sue the police as an orginsation and the officers as individuals they will soon start to understand the law and tow the line.
-
Iwould complain to the chief constable and your mp even better if you can take say12 freinds to the mp's surgery and peacefully but forceably demand somthing is done. The same goes for demanding the mp's make the oft an ico do there jobs and clamp down of dca's, not just have tea and scones and a cosy chat but start to slap them with fines. Remember we pay taxes for this protection it is time to make these agences do there job for a change
-
I would also put up a notice saying no callers without appointment any persons calling without appointment agree to pay £50 per hour or part thereof. With an action in the small claims court if not paid in 14 days. I have used this mysef to great effect against sales reps ect ect

I used to have 2 border collies who soon saw of doorstep callers.Incidently out of loads of leters threatning doorstep callers only 2 ever showed up 1 legged in as soon as my dogs started going ballistic and wanting to kill him. and the other left when I pointed at the cctv camera(fake) and warned him he was beeing recorded both audio and visually and was not getting any money, nor was I discusing anything with him or accepting any documents, and the police had allredy been called

DO NOT send them any of the requested info,it is beleved that some dca's knock up forged cca's if you supply such info. From what I can tell they have not sent an executied copy off the cca ps. do not send any documentation (passports drivers licence ect) nor send a copy of your mothers signiture to them -

This sounds like a normal threat o gram to try to scare you in to sending them some cash or calling them. I would ignore it I have lost count of the number of times dca's have threatend myself with court and do you know what happend NOTHING -
What a good day it will be when we can give the dca's a taste of ther own medicine and call them every 5 min

There feet did not touch the ground. It was highly ammusing hearing the manager squim and try to backpedal
-
That would be a shame, maybe they will ask mr Brown to bail them out with OUR TAX MONEY
-
In my case they were foolish enough to put in in writing that they did not intend to folow the rules on statute barred debt so they knew that I had them cold
-
Insist the police do something after all as tax payers WE PAY them to protect us from this harrasment the same goes for the oft and trading standards. The time has come for robuts action and not just tea and scones and a cosy chat, a few £50.000 fines and licences revocations would soon get the message across
-
Good point my general advice is never ever press the hash, star or any other key if you are not 100% sure of the company you are calling
-
Why pay when you can get as good as if not better advice on here for free . I always like to wind these people up make them think they are geting a sale and then tell them to f**k off
-
Better still open the door dressed in a blood spatterd appron and mask with a meat cleaver and under heavy breathing say YES

Credit Security Ltd & Debt Managers HELP
dcakiller replied to moon biscuit's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
here it is edit as needed Dear Sirs I refer to your letter of XXXXX 2008, the content of which is noted. No debt to your client is acknowledged. On (date) I made a formal request to your client pursuant to s.78(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. They have failed to comply within the statutory time limit, or at all. It should not be necessary to have to remind solicitors that the provisions of s.78(6) now apply. In the circumstances, your/your clients threat of legal action would appear to be a breach of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the Office of Fair Trading Guidance on Debt Collection. Should you or your client bring proceedings, they will be robustly defended, and the Court's attention drawn to the above statutory breaches . Furthermore, I reserve the right to bring the conduct of your client to the Court when the issue of costs is being considered. Yours faithfully I would still complaim to the oft & trading standads and let them know you are doing this -

There is a follow up letter in the templates section you can send them if you wish, but I would just ignore them and report them to oft & trading standards. Incidently default of a cca is a complete deffence if they did try to go to court -
I used to have a sign up with a photo of my two collies and the quote "we can make it to the front gate in 2 seconds can you?"
-
Agree if enough of us stamp our feet go an badger our mp's and insist that the oft do what we pay taxes for them to do. It can be very effective for say 12 pepole to quietly and peacefully turn up at an mp's surgery and present the problen to them
-
Hi ak wrote yo me a full 2 years after I told them the debt was statute barred, basicly saying I did not understand the law and they would continue to make contact to ensure payment, well 1 quick call to tell them I was reffering there letter to oft and trading standards and would be geting my mp involved and the debt was scraped with a prommise never to call or write to me again regarding it (still complained though)
