  1. also what is the probability of Red sending a doorstep collector to this address and demand to have my new address for a drbt of £90 thst doesnt exsist, I think they may have it now and could I expect a visit now old landlord said he had been there dont know if he was making it up
  2. the family premium is awarded to you only if Income Support is already paying for any children and you are not in receipt of child tax credits for them. if you have claimed child tax credit as you say you have then you will not be entitled to the family premium, as for your SDP or severe disability premium they need to send you out a new form an IS 10 to complete, on that you will declare who lives in your houshold, if your son has moved out you should get it from the date he left the houshold, this when received should be done quickly for you they may check his JSA claim or ESA claim to see if he has changed his address so he needs to inform them so his records can be updated try and get tax credits and child benefit backdated if you can
  3. thanks for that, much appreciated said the new tenant was a doctor with an excellent credit history who had been refused new credit asi the address that was now black listed I will inform him that is not the case
  4. wonder if anybody can shed any light on this please about a year ago I moved address, at the old address I did have a few credit agencies after me but have since settled all my debts, bar one that I didnt owe anyway my previous landlord has said the new tenant is having difficulties getting credit at the address because of its history and that I should have to rectify this, is this correct, and what should I do any help or advice please

  6. hi everyone looking at the charge for taking my claim to court I think we have scrapped it together, whats the first step I have the list of charges somewhere on my computer its ages since I have looked into this but hope to get it to moving again this week
  7. Have ve read the banks are going to appeal to the House of Lords against losing the case so its not over yet but should I still go to court have had a very tight year so far, and have done nothing with my claim since last year. My account with them is still open and has a small in the black balance but receive no statement I would have to pay to take my claim to court and money is tight, what do you advise please
  8. hi Terry If you had over eight thousand pounds in savings then during your claim to Income Support and they have found out then you were not entitled to benefit as the capital limit then was eight thousand pouds It has since gone up to sixteen think it was 2004 and yes they can come after you even after six years. Why did you top claiming I.S had they done a match on your capital. You can pay the overpayment back weekly by direct debit
  9. ESA has replaced Incapacity Benefit for all new claimants but there are differnet levels of ESA and if you have paid stamp or national insurance you may be entitled to more because then it is based on your contibutions you have paid If you caim ESA then you can get housing benefit and council tax if applicable the rate for benefit increases awhen you reach twenty five at present its £60.50 but due a rise in April
  10. Your girl friend has grounds to claim Income Support for you, she has Incapacity Benefit and could easily if you wanted it claim for you as her partner if you were to move in with her, She would get the couple rate Income Support and if she has been on Income support and Incapacity Benefit for over a year the couple disability premium as well She needs to claim DLA again and maybe you could help her with the forms If you have no Income at all you may be better off as a family I think she would still get full help with her housing benefit but Welfare Rights or CAB could advise you on the best way forward I
  11. She can claim working tax credits for up to twenty six weeks while claiming Statutory Sick Pay and off work sick Unfortunately untill that runs out and her SSP she cant claim the new E.S.A benefit If she is off for a few works she may be able to claim housing and council tax benefi because she is on a low income
  12. sorry to bump this but I need to get a leter to them this week I am sure they never sent me a default letter and there was no copy in my SAR bumph any ideas what I should send them next, should I ask for a copy of the default they have told me what day they had supposedly sent it their letter made me angry so condescending
  13. does the ruling about Natwest the other day give us any hope or effect our claim to our H.S.B.C charges or not, its so frustating waitng for the end:confused:
  14. you were wrongly advised, did you call the call centre to claim I.S or did I,B tell you that. have you made your claim to Income Support now? if you have ask for backdating to December 15th the day you failed your PCA and explain what happened be firm with them you can ill afford to lose that money you are entitled to it see Welfare Rights if you seem to be getting no where, or threaten them with your MP that always works good luck
  15. You can get your Income Support Claim backdated up to a month if you have recently seperated and didnt get around to claiming from that date You just need to ask when you make your call to the contact centre or if you have already claimed now put it into writing when you send of your forms after signing them.
  16. Hi Jamhead Did you have a claim for Income Support and Incapacity Benefit prior to failing your PCA If you did and completed your appeal form and they accepted it with in one calendar month then you should have a continuous claim and go on to the appeal rate of IS , thats £48.40 at the moment for a single person. If they shut your claim you are entitled to have it reopened speak to a supervisor when you call again If you have only just made a claim to I.S and they have hadnt then accepted your PCA appeal and your claim was processed as nil entiitlement then you can get that looked at agiain and get paid from your date of claim
  17. If your partner is definately living at another address they cant get you for living together, they may well advise you to make a joint claim if you have told them that he stays over but when your four weeks are up and you dont feel that you would like him to move in then just tell them, You make that decision in your own time, they cant even fill out the living together forms if you are indeed not living together so dont worry, and they definately could not suspend or close your claim with out that form completed and then that would have to go to another decision maker before they could do either, so stick to your guns and do whats best for you but there is plenty of help available if you do become a couple Does he use your address for any reason at all, or has he in the past>
  18. If you fail your PCA with IB .and appeal against that decision and then go on to I.S on the reduced rate and then win that appeal, you will be put back on IB and any arrears due to you will be paid. Arrears being of the Disability Premium if you are due it and the twenty percent they took of your basic personal allowance while your appeal is heard,
  19. when my SAR bumph came back no copy of the CCA but now they seemed to have found one, did you have a copy of the default notice in you SAR stuff
  20. they have replied with a standard letter saying that they have the right still to process my data and have not comitted any crime as they have only supplied the CRA with the correct information they have enclosed also a copy of the CCA I am sure I never received a default notice of them also there was not a copy in the Subject Access Request material I received nor a copy of the CCA they have now produced any advice what to do now, do I ask them for a copy of the default letter and is there a template also on the cca agreement it states a £20 charge for late payments I was always charged £25 or £12 and also the account number on the CCA different to my account number]card number
  21. Hi goldies girl they have access to lots of things these days, can have copies of any credit card applications he may have taken out at your address, mobile contracts, where he registers and taxes the car from utility bills and of course if he is working he must be registered for tax and insurance so this will be registered at an address, , You did ring and inform them and what you have been through I cant tell you what to say but you have immitagating circumstances to say the least. If you can remember anything about the call it will help, The claim should have been suspended as soon as you made the call and closed down when they had the letter from you. It shouldnt have been paid after, dont know if that will help
  22. Do you claim Carers Allowance for looking after your child,?? if you do then you could have claimed for him from the date your partner moved in and that would have been fine you are entitled to claim for him If you dont receive Carers Allowance then you have been missing out on extra money and premiums If your son has DLA middle Care or above you could claim Carers Allowance now and it then you can add your partner to your claim Tell them your son has DLA you are entitled to extra premiums for your son if they dont already know and you are claiming income support for him If you are receiving tax credits instead for your children tell them , hope everything goes well for you whatever you decide to do
  23. thanks for the reply am very grateful know what to expect now cheers
  24. your husband may be entitled to JSA if he has paid enough contributions would be worth a phone call if he is a contractor they are processing claims quickly but would not be entitled to Income Support as you have no condition of entitlement.
