"Not read: " receipt...
LilyLou replied to bottomburp's topic in Broadband and other Internet issues
Because the email was read without being opened, the email programme after a set amount of time will automatically tell you it has not been read, meaning it has not been opened. Regards Lilylou -

LilyLou replied to bottomburp's topic in Broadband and other Internet issues
Emails can be read without being opened, outlook has the facility to do that, its a split screen and the bottom half shows the contents of the email, hope this helps Regards LilyLou -
If these debts are from 1996, whether paid or not then they are statue barred. You will find the appropriate letter to send in the templates library, also the letter regarding harrassment. LilyLou

Hello All My friend bought her granddaughter a DS Lite from Gamestation as a christmas gift, the unit is now faulty, however she paid cash and cannot find the receipt, what can she do? She did NOT register it with Nintendo as the shop convinced her they gave her 12 months warranty. Thanks in anticipation

Disciplinary pending - please help
LilyLou replied to mikexlr8's topic in Employment and minimum wage problems
Were you suspended pending the outcome of the meeting? Does your contract state whether you should be on full pay? -
Just a thought, could DWP provide a letter confirming your receipt of benefit from 1995 to the present day? This could be helpful to you, and yes contact your local MP, also there is a free legal advice centre you can ring. Will look it up and be right back. I know its frustrating but you have come to the right place, if it's only moral support we can offer to stop you feeling so low. Just a thought, do you get housing benefit as well? Has that been processed ok with no problems? Id so how can you be in receipt of housing benefit and NOT council tax benefit as I presume they are applied for together and at the same time? Take care BRB

How many self assessments have you NOT filed ?? If the debt is 3 years or less old they may adjust your tax code to recover some of it. You still have time to file, maybe they might owe you something that they will take off the debt

Please contact the Benefits Agency ASAP, you will qualify for housing benefit and council tax benefit amongst other things. Someone else more qualified than me will be along shortly to assist you.

Don't quite understand: Why is the claim addressed to your brother from his uni for his fees, yet you say you are responsible and you have to ackowledge and change the name to yours?

Congratulation !!! Sit down, have a cuppa and afford yourself a big smile. Ell helped my daughter, and like you because the interest rate has dropped she is in a better position to pay her mortgage plus arrears. Good luck for the future -
Totally agree, yes they have a job to do, but as they hold personal details: ie: DOB they should handle things differently. My Elderly aunt(74) also received a call for £7.50, when she explained she had been seriously ill after my uncle's bereavement they demanded to know when she would be well enough to pay the outstanding !!! My cousin telephoned them and gave them a two word answer, second word was off !

These morons telephoned my 73 year old mum at 8.18am to demand a debit card payment of £8 !!!!!! She was 2 days late with her payment. After a telephone call by myself they have now removed her contact details.

Depression/debts, and a way forward.
LilyLou replied to Desperado£'s topic in Effects of debt on Health and Lifestyle
If you lived near me I would do your tax returns for you, that would be 1 less thing to worry about. I have just seen the light after 9 months of depression/anxiety, know exactly what you mean about 'good intentons' had them every day until 6 weeks ago. Regards LilyLou
