  1. I sent MBNA a CCA request on 25th February 2008. They defaulted on 17th March 2008 and I sent the reminder letter yesterday on the 18th. I have been receiving almost daily letters from NCO Europe Ltd, trading as RMA and also from MBNA themselves. Today, in the post, I received a Postcard, stating :- I CONFIRM THAT I WILL BE CALLING ON: TUESDAY BETWEEN: 8AM - 8-PM If inconvenient please telephone 08707 591159 quoting the reference number on the address side of the card Regards, C GREEN I have dashed off the 'you may not visit me at home, etc' letter.. including that the alleged debt is in dispute with their principle MBNA and that they had been copied with letters to MBNA in NCO's daily correspondence. I will be copying MBNA the letter that I am sending NCO, however, I feel sure I have seen a letter somewhere that reminds the Credit Card Company that they are responsible for the actions of their DCAs.. can anyone please point me to it. I thank you. xx PS.. if this thread is in the wrong part of the forum could it be moved please. xx
  2. Started to complete the 'simple' excel spreadsheet. Will update as and when.
  3. Undernie, start your own thread, that way you will get help tailored to your specific needs
  4. It is very scary that they seem to have so much contempt for the consumer. x
  5. patrickq1 - post 13 makes some suggestions on what to do with the information you have received incorrectly. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general-debt-issues/134884-customer-data-emailed-me.html
  6. It isnt right at all. Hold on a sec.. someone else posted here today regarding the receiving of other people's data.. Will go and check it out and get the link for you. x
  7. Ah.. I thought that line referred to enclosing a copy of the previous request.. oooops !!.
  8. Hello All! These MBNA Monthly Rates can be very offensive when you realise just how much they really are! MBNA dropped showing these as annual rates a while back, to hide the true cost I think. Here's a quick list of the usual ones, shown as Monthly and Annual: 1.3852% = 17.95% Ouch! 1.4566% = 18.95% Double Ouch! 1.8735% = 24.95% H-O-W much?!? 2.5292% = 34.95% Danger Will Robinson! Has anyone yet managed to Claim back excess Interest when the MBNA has ramped up the Rates (usually after a batch of Penalty Charges)? Sorry to jump in, just thought people may like a quick table of MBNA Rates from Monthly to Annual, just to make Sunday more fun. Cheers, BRW I think your warning should have come a little earlier steven4064.. I darn near choked on a biscuit.
  9. Thanks Duffer's Mum and Slick132. Have sent the letter out today and have made a note that it is Northampton TS that I have to contact should the need arise.
  10. hi I received one of these letters from Crap1 this morning. This is my response to them... Capital One Bank (Europe) plc P O Box 5282 Nottingham NG2 3FB Dear Ms XXX ACCOUNT NO: xxxxxx I received your letter dated 11th March 2008 today . You acknowledge receipt of the income and expenditure form prepared by CCCS (Consumer Credit Counselling Service) on my behalf. Having taken advice from both the above and the CAB, I discover I am not obliged to send you financial documentation ie bank statements/payslips and you have no legal right to request these either. The very fact that a reputable outside Agency has prepared the I&E form should be sufficient for your requirements. I will be sending an updated I&E form out toward the end of April due to increases in Council Tax rates, etc. I would thank you for including internet banking information in your correspondence. This will make it easier to pay you. Yours sincerely
  11. Thanks for the letter slick132. Will get on to that later on today. Thanks for the advice re starting another thread for the enforceable mastercard account. It will most certainly make life easier
  12. LOL, that one is priceless Mr Marmite. As for trying to see if anyone is there at 7.16am.. they sure as heck arent answering their phones at any other time of the day !

  14. umm, that is a very wierd letter from Crap 1 davey77. If "you have acted within the terms and conditions".. what exactly is their problem ?? I look forward to your response on that one. Question. Do I have to wait for the CC company to say they are no longer going to correspond on the question of an enforceable agreement. Or can I write and ask for them to CONFIRM that their last letter is a final response. I would like to get moving with sending stuff to FOS and TS and really dont want to Faff around with barclaycard who still insist their preapplication form is an agreement.. grrrrr
  15. This is the latest response from Barclaycard Visa. So what should my next move be please. Thank you x
  16. It looks to cover everything Dollydoo. However, please dont just take my word, wait for someone with more experience to come along as I am sure they will

  19. davey77, I notice you include this paragraph in a fair few of your letters. Would you please explain why ? Thank you Further, please take note that any detail contained in any further correspondence from XXXXXXXXXXXX shall be taken as a statement of truth in Law and could be produced as evidence in any future Court Proceedings.
  20. It would be a good idea to investigate the insurance angle as well awakenow.. that would no doubt help out a bit. Good luck.
  21. 42man are there letter templates/instructions on how to do this please?
  22. I believe they have to send a copy of the T&cs that were in force at the time you took out the alledged agreement. I am sorry I just dont know enough about the requirements even though I keep reading all the posts.
