request your cca and at the same time ,if you have your charges list ,claim your bank charges

i've used SPECIAL delivery for all my halifax letters-more expensive but less of a brain ache and i'll just claim the costs back

i understand test case does NOT cover credit cards,loans.business accounts or mortgage accounts so you can still claim for these

right andy-you have a couple of options but you need to make it clear which option your going for in your prelim and lba 1)claim cci-for this you add up all your charges-add cci rate into spread sheet and claim it-cap one dont generally pay cci without a fight-i claimed this using 29.9% as that was the rate they charged me-if you go for 34% and it goes to court the judge may ask you why you claimed 34% when cap one only charged you say 29%.they havent offered me cci!! 2) calim stat 8% interest-for this add all your charges and send ONLY these as your claim.if it goes to court you then do a spreadsheet with your poc and add 8% into it but only at this stage, so basically your just claiming charges until you file n1 or mcol and then add it in!! i'm just claiming stat on my other claims freom now on. hope this helps

hi andy-my claim was for all charges with 29.9% cci-theyve not settled with cci but i'm quite happy with my offer so think i will call it a day if the cheque arrives.they just added stat interest

hi analyst-no probs-i will sort that later today or first thing tomorrow am as am going out this aft-i actually achieved more during a phone call to sheffield collections office.it was all settled over the phone AND i've had a confirmation letter.

hi have £2500 arrears with norwich/peterborough-they have threatened solicitors proceedings if £1200 is not paid in the next 2 weeks-just got a list of charges this am and they alone amount to £3500 without any kind of interest added. advice-deperately needed please. if they take us to court could we use the charges as a defence??

one step forward 6 steps back.i'm hanging on til monday now-just to see what comes to light .my fees are £250 WHICH I CAN ILL AFFORD AT THE MO!!!!!!!!

spoke with my local court-not allowed to advise but obviously once you pay the fee your in the system-no going back so no refund.aaaaaaaaaagggghhhh
