  1. hi -i understand about claiming standard 8% interest when you get as far as a court claim-but i keep hearing compound and contractual interest-i know contractual is the rate you put in your spreadsheet if you want to claim this instead and that it must be clarified in your prelim-but what is compound interest please

  3. got my statements on 38th day.-prelim now gone but have had default letter in meantime telling me i need to pay £750 to bring overdraft within limit by june 28th-i'm claiming £4987.5- stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. hi-i have 1060 owed from crap 1 going back to 2002-find excel bank sheet really easy to use but i gather i can't use it for credit card-tried 13 and 16 in chambers but absolutely bamboozled-dont know what i'm doing-is it not at all poss to use excel sheet and to put in 34.9 as %

  7. hi all-sussed the main bits on mcol but just wondered-do i add sar fee in with charges or do i not include it at this stage

  10. hi-just looked at mcol form-wondered -i'm a bit confused about the blue text-i thought i wrote in the amount oof charges i'm claiming back-5a. then the amount the 8% interest comes to5b followed by the daily rate. but then i got confused-what does the bit mean where it states for guidance only-am i thick?
  11. hi-just been looking at mcol temolate-confused-it all makes sense except where is states not to incluse the blue bit in your claim????-i am claiming £4950 +(at the MO) about £700 which will be the 8% interest. do i write in-return of the amounts debited of £4950;Interest per S.69 county courts act 1984 0f 8 %-£700 continuing at 8%...........-cant understand why its in blue and not red-am i dense?
  12. sar still not signed for and royal mail wont consider it lost til 15 working days after posting which leaves me til 22nd may-cant find out whether postal order was cashed either-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  13. a little concerned-sent lba to coop at balloon st on 4th may-checked with royal mail-surprised!-no record of delivery as yet. concerned as my prelim was also sent recorded but arrived the day after posting-am i back to square one?

  15. hi-i'm having probs with this co too-got £1285 added to loan for ppi but this policy was never activated-also had £380 charges added -spoken with acting branch manager today-threatened to take them for ppi,charges and cci-phone went silent-leave it with me he replies-ok said i -you've got til 25th-then i'm sending prelim!!!!!!!!!-oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh-i'm not usually that confident but....
  16. spoken with acting branch manager today-i was right-the ppi was cancelled at loan onset but never deducted from my running total. what would you like me to do?-asked the branch manager wipe off all the charges and the ppi and we're talking-you've got til may 25th before prelim goes and i will pursue cc1 at ur favourable rate of 25.3%apr-replies i-watch this space:)
  17. in a rut here-if i take them back to march 2002 i can claim £4982 which sits nicely in the small claims bracket-if i go to the full 6 years it will probably be about £6000
  18. just wondered-have sent non compliance letter as they have missed some transactions/charges and 40 days are up-is it too late to ask for all banking history rather than 6 years which is what i originally requested?
  19. no-not as yet-when i called 1st credit a couple of weeks ago they said they were acting on aquas behalf but didnt actually own the debt!??
  20. hi-phoned 1st credit last week to tell them i had sent S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to aqua-low and behold-have received a letter from 1st credit today saying they're going to start court action
