hi-i sent sar to cap 1 recorded delivery on 39th april-(received by cap 1 on may 2nd)-would you believe-on may 5th I received a letter dated st may(conveniently?) that the debt has been sold to capquest! what should i do now?

jos-our credit rating is absolutely c**p but we were accepted for a bank account with coop,norwich and pete,natwest and abbey-go to your branch armed with passport,driving licence and a recent utility bill,or bank statement-sorted-post how you get on tomorrow. ps-with abbey and coop you get an electron card -go t moneysupermarket.com-click on current accounts,then basic accounts-it will show you info on each bank.-hope this helps.-ju.x

hi jos-this can't be right-they should have given you warning-surely-i have had letters from them with threats they will withdraw mine-best rid-but a worry!!!!!!!! i've just opened an abbey account with a crap credit score-i got an electron card and have arranged to have d/ds s/o etc from it-they keep adding charges onto my acc at lloyds-£1500 overdraft but now £1800 overdrawn-i'll just get it back-look jos if its any concellation-go to nationwide,abbey or a coop branch armed with i.d and open a new account and start afresh

hi-i have just sent sar to lloyds -wondering whether to go for cci but cant get my head round cci table-can someone put me in the right direction-pleeeeeeeeeeese. if i had a £35 charge for a direct debit taken on 26/07/2002 and for arguments sake had a £500 overdraft limit but was £600 overdrawn what should i be owed at the mo?-ta so muchly. looks like lloyds use 18.3% interest for overdraft-not sure where to put interest charges-i'm not thick really

got usual 4 week blah dee blah response to prelim letter back from coop this am-Lba will be winging its way on friday.lol

i sent a £10 postal order and asked the post office for a receipt-send it registered post so you have proof and then wait for 40days

hi marwood-you would need to send your sar to penny berryman-look at contact details for penny-click onto lloyds thread and its listed as a subthread under contact details-let me know if you cant find it

oh and you cant claim standard rip off charge that lloyds put on for MANAGING your account-thats a laugh-they couldnt manage a ........

claim it all riot-dont forget overdraft excess charges too-you can claim for almost everything cept odraft interest

i've calculated they owe 4600 without interest back til 07/2002-i'm not greedy but if i were to go back further and claim ci -i'd be laughing-its all a bit daunting though
