  1. After all the negative news i hear on here re: cashback problems ( Which i have been stung by ) here's a bit of positive, I ordered a clearance nokia 6300 on dolphin 35 18m with the promise of a nintendo wii, i placed order december 21 from newnokiaphone.co.uk - got my phone on the 24th despite christmas rush and quickly called customer services to confirm when wii will arrive. Got through to them almost immediatley the young lady was really helpful and advised due to xmas I would get it mid way through Jan. She was correct i got it today!! Yippeeee. Thought i would share GOODNEWS For once! There not all bad and i will be reccomending newnokiaphone to all/ family friends in the future. Has any1 else dealt with them before or are they new on the scene?
  2. Well people where always advised to carry on with the timeline until they have the money so prob do the court thing!! Also go to the branch, sometimes the most obvious things are efective and you have nothing to lose - goodluck
  3. If the amounts is fairly Low I would advise ( if u hadnt already ) To go into your local branch with all the documentation and kick up a bit of a fuss - im sure they would be glad to just settle to get rid of you! I did the same thing i filed an MCOL Claim but they continued to charge me - all my charges that where added since i filed a claim where wrote off instantly i was only in the branch for 10 minutes!!
  4. [problem] Are a law firm that act on behalf of LTSB They usually make offers. What type of proof do you have that they offered? The best bet would be to go to court
  5. Who offered to settle? Lloyds themselves [problem] - Prob a silly question as u hadnt started proceedings but worth asking!
  6. yup - gone are tha days wen the banks back down- as u say they have nothing to lose and i doubt after the test case that the feesa will be outlawed altogether, the only thing that will happen is they will be classed as excessive and then 1 of 2 things will happen. Either a fee is agreed and the difference will have to be refunded ( in that case no 1 will get full amount ) or a fee is agreed and thats that going forward so the banks could just forget about previous charges, how ever way u look at this i doubt in the next month or so any1 will get a full refund we are still in the stagger period where people have recieved offers before notification of the test case
  7. yes nic but times changed since u and me got back wat was rightfully ours - tha banks could hold out for test case which could take a year and theres no guarantee after tha year that the banks will lose is there
  8. good luck! id settle for around 1500 and above nothing less
  9. Bump = Also can i have a **won*** next to my name pls!
