  2. I have just received a PCN from Euro Car Parks for exceeding allowed parking time. I have not replied, appealed or contacted anyone from Euro Car Parks but would appreciate any advice before deciding on my next course of action. I have attached letter of correspondence Euro Car Parks PCN.docx
  3. It's better to keep advice on the open forum for everyone's benefit. Maybe you could post up the correspondence in a single pdf document and cover up your personal details, reference numbers and so on? HB
  4. Hi on the notice of disqualification it lists the 2 speed offences and marks offence withdrawn? This is for both offences and then the other 2 is the MS90s which I’m fined for and the additional costs. R
  5. Hi, It has taken a while, but I have received an email from Auxillis - hello, we are not dealing with this claim all we do is log accident for you isnurance - the claim has been passed to your underwriter markerstudy 0344 873 8183 as they are deal with fault cliams ion behalf of adrian flux. thankyou auxillis I have made repeated attempts to phone Markerstudy in between working from home, struggling for energy and trying to find a cheap car so that I can keep my job (community support worker). Thankfully I have a supportive team and I am being given phone calls to make but it cant last too long.
  6. Thanks for the response. Am I able to send you the documents I’ve received or can you message via instant message and I’ll send these? Reece
  7. Regretfully it does. Have you actually seen any papers which show what you were charged with (rather than what you were convicted of)? It is unusual not to be “dual charged” but if you were not charged with both, you are where you are. If you had been charged with both offences and providing you were the driver at the time, you could, after performing your SD, have asked the prosecutor to drop the “Fail to Provide” (FtP) charges in exchange for a guilty plea to the speeding charges (you cannot be convicted of speeding unless you plead guilty as they have no evidence you were driving). You will have difficulty defending the FtP charg

  9. Just the sort of people you despise eh Jugg You would be much happier among your mates in that room with Rayner begging for votes
  10. I see the trial of the real criminal in the Biden Family has started rather than the sham political persecution of Trump Biden will of course try to distance himself as far as possible to no avail Even more votes for The Donald
  11. With Farage back in the news, here's a reminder of his interview with Claire Byrne on Irish TV a few years ago.
  12. So, why do DVLA (via that leaflet) say 1) that S.88 MAY allow a driver to be treated as if they have a valid licence (after an application that discloses a medical condition) AND 2) before DVLA have reached their licensing decision ? (Since S.88 ceases to apply once they have reached a decision to grant or refuse a licence)
  13. Thanks for that, Bazza. It sheds some more light on things but I’m still by no means sure of the OP’s father’s likelihood of successfully defending the charge. This in particular from the guidance stands out me: He does not meet all the s88 criteria. S88 is clear and unambiguous: It makes no provision for either the driver or a medical professional to make a judgement on his fitness to drive under s88. S92(4) and the June 2013 guidance you mention defines in what circumstances the SoS must issue a licence. It does no modify s88 in any way. However, delving further I have noticed that the DVLA provides a service where the
  14. Right, my friend has just called me. He has indeed had to cancel bookings in the past from his end. There is a specific number for Booking.com that he calls. After that Booking.com jump into action and contact you re refund and/or alternative accommodation. I suppose it's all logical - the party cancelling the booking has to inform Booking.com. So the gite owner needs to contact Booking.com on the cancellation number.
  15. they are not FINES. you totally ignore all the silly fake civil restorative letters. they are totally powerless just the same as any DCA on any old debt. might be an idea to go have a chat with your GP in confidence as you recognise whats going on. dx
  16. pinging @Man in the middle looks to me you are on the correct track, you shouldn't need a sols. Programmable Search Engine (google.com) clickme^^ thread title updated dx
  17. you block and ignore everything unless you ever get a scottish claimform from a court. and thats never happened to my knowledge. dx
  18. correct so the sign it not illegal then. carry on with you letter of claim. get your POC ready and familiarise yourself with the court process. dx
  19. Surprise surprise, Lee/Jack text me this morning to say I could collect the car Saturday. I am going Monday so will see what sort of state it is in.
  20. You're a wizard with Booking.com, Dave. I'll wait to see if you have any joy talking to your buddy and hope you have a good catch up. Thank you for doing this. I'm not sure the owner of this gite knows what she's doing so I'll certainly mention what you've just said about customer services. I'll wait for the result of your conversation first, though. HB
  21. Yes, I noticed that. Too much of a coincidence methinks! The OP says they never received a LoC and then in the CPR answer the solicitors say they hold a copy of the LoC but don't include it. I think the best thing is not to request a copy but use this against them in your WS - you never received LoC and indeed in their answer to your CPR request (included an an exhibit in the WS) they included various documents but not the LoC.
  22. Frustratingly I've got a voice WhatsApp message from my friend but he's misunderstood the situation and thinks it's you who wants to cancel. Anyway, I've answered asking if I can call him and hopefully the two of us will be free at the same time today to actually speak on the phone. In the meantime I found this on a page I think meant for people/businesses who have listings on Booking.com How can I communicate with guests to inform them about unforeseen issues at my property and initiate a cancellation? If you’re experiencing unforeseen issues and can’t accommodate your guests, you must report this to our customer service. The
  23. Hi ALl, Would appreciate some advice and support. I went to insure my car with my partner last night and they refused insurance. I checked my dvla license online and it stated I have been disqualified for 6 months. This is due to 2 driving offences that I failed to identify the driver. I moved house a year ago and completely forgot about changing the registered address. This went to court on 14th May 24 and was given a fine for both and 6 points each totalling 12 points and a 6 month ban. I have read a few things online and spoken to a couple of solicitors for a quick consultation and views and opinions are
