I am getting rather concerned. NW have put their defence in to the court which is fine. However I have had a letter from the courts which I have not read yet as I am currently out of the country. I have all my correspondance going to my parents address for them to send on to me.

I have been only give 2 weeks to respond and I am still waiting for the letter to turn up, what happens if what I have to sign and return does not get back to them by the 2 week deadline?

Since posting this Thread, I have been advised by my parents that I now have had a letter from the court to say that the Judge has put the case on hold until Feb 08?????

I guess this is because of the test case. This seems unfair!!

Comments and suggestions welcome.

Hello and welcome to CAG. This is happening at some courts around the country. If it is a credit card charges claim then the terms are different, and you can still try to claim them back. The OFT case is about unauthorised borrowing and the fees surrounding that. You can ask the judge to reconsider this decision by asking for the "Stay" to be removed.

here is a link to the information you will need.
