after been awarded the claim what do i do to get the money owed?

hi can someone please point me in the right direction for what to do whe you have been to court been awarded your claim as they didnt fight the claim. so how do i go about getting the money owed to me.Is there any standard letters i could sent saying i want my money.

Hi Pauline,

 

Just phone them and tell them that you have won your case and you have a decree against them. They might want to see the decree, so if they do wait until you have received it from the court (it usually takes about 2 weeks to come from the court), if this is what they want send them a fax of it, you can do this at your local library, and inform them that you want your money, preferably within the next 2 - 3 days if not you will send in the sheriff officers. I have found that by the time that you have got to this stage they will pay up. If you have any problem with them inform them that you will go to the sheriff officers and that the cost will be met by the bank. The price for a sheriff officer to do this is about £180.00

Charges:£5,156.39 Information Commissioner's Office informed June 12th who wrote to BoS, June 22nd for non-compliance. #1a/c: passed to BoS Senior Review Team. Discovered 2 further a/cs, and 3 Loan accounts. "Goodwill offer" of £7,424.23 06/07/07. Accepted (partial repayment). 20/07/07 Top-up payments of £2,558.10 & £1,154.00

£11,136.33 paid back thus far.

New claim issued: 9/07/2007 for 3rd account: £500+ PRESSING ON!
