Hi - Can anyone help please?

I received a letter from HMCS indicating that my small claim against NatWest has been transferred to the London Mercantile Court on 15th June. I am one of about 80 cases being heard on this date.

I am not sure I will be able to attend and have called the court clerk telling him this. His recommendation was to contact the bank and see if they will make an offer before the court date and to write to the court

However, I received an offer from NatWest several months ago which was for a fraction of my original claim and turned it down. Is it a good idea to write to them again asking for a better offer?

Also, the letter they want me to send to the court because I can't attend, does anyone have a format or what the letter should contain.

For those that have already attended one of these hearings what happens? Are the claimants individually asked questions by the Judge etc?

I'm grateful for any help I can get .

Thanks - Pete
