Well, 3 days more or less solidly reading through the experiences of others on this forum & elsewhere, read through the FAQ & step by step & talked at great length with herself (it’s a joint account).

DPA letter sent today, registered post. I’ve got statements going back to 2004 with almost 2k in charges, but if I’m going to have it I might as well have it all.

Wish me luck, I’ll post updates as they happen.

Andy.

No response to my Data Protection Act request yet. Royal Mail confirms it was delivered. I’ve sent an email via the RBS web site as a gentle nudge. 40 days runs out on the 19th.

Data Protection Act fee cheque has been cashed & there was a message to call the branch on the machine when I got home from work last night. Signs of movement, at last.

Ok, well, they’re now 8 days overdue with my Data Protection Act request, despite two reminders via email. LBA with 7 days notice before court action to comply will be sent recorded delivery tomorrow.

Perhaps that’ll wake them up at the branch!
