i have sent my request for charges back for 2 accounts one is for £1264 the other is £2772 i have got a letter back saying sorry you are not happy with the charges been applied to your account and they believe them to be fair and reasonable so i have sent another letter saying that i give them another 7 days to refund or i will take them to the small claims court is that all i can do does anyone think that they will pay up or will i have to go to court i dont really want to but i will if i have to i also have a loan with rbs wich i have never defaulted on but i am a bit worried they may close my account can i use this as a bargening tool for them not to close my account as i will not be able to pay it back to them if they close my account i will say

i sent 1st letter of requesting 6 years bank statements within 40 days that was up 26th june zoe rang there had been a mix she was not allowed to get them for me from this branch it had to go some where else so it may take a little while longer then another phone call wed 28th the request had got lost in internal mail so have to start again i know they are messing me about hoping i get fed up (which i wont)

i sent the first letter off requesting bank statments for last six years giving them 40 days 40 days was up 26th june no reply. got a phone call yesterday from my local branch saying she has had to send them head office somthing to do with data protection and unfortunatley they got lost in internal mail she doesnt know how that happened (yeh alright) so they are having to start again i told her i am not waiting another 40 days she them said well hopefully it will only take another 2 weeks is there anything i can do i think they are trying to fob me off or think i will get fed up and stop persuing them which i will not do as they are getting even more determind to take it all the way any help will be appreaciated

i am in the process of claiming back my bank charges i have sent request for my last six years statements giving them 40 days to reply it has been 42 days now no reply i contacted the bank they said because of the data protection act they have had to pass it on to head office and they will get in contact with me but give it an extra week how long should i wait and what can i do if they dont contact me
