Confirmation of court procedure/AQ

Hello all. I have started another thread (Drysdale v Abbey), however I've found a lot of the threads relating to the AQ and procedures afterwards quite confusing to follow. I am really looking for confirmation on what I think is best practice, please advise otherwise:

 

Complete AQ (N149) as necessary

- Attach Draft Order for Directions

- Send to courts (and Abbey? What exactly do I send to the defendent?? Do I include a photocopy of the AQ and Draft Order?)

 

Wait for response from courts re: hearing date/confirmation of Draft Order -AND- wait for settlement from defendent.

 

Once received confirmation from courts, send Statement of Evidence/Court Bundle and all associated paperwork/evidence. -OR- do I take this with me to the initial hearing.

 

Please advise!! Finding the whole process difficult to comprehend.

Yes, although not arequirement it's recommended as a courtesy

Yes, 1 copy to Abbey, 1 to court,1 for yourself.
