Hi there

We need more info on the debt.

If you send a CCA Request and the company fail to materialise the documents required, It wont be removed.

We could do with some help from you.

No the default will remain for 5 yrs in scotland.

You may be confusing 2 separate issues:

1. The default on your credit file is there because the required payments were not made and lending stream/pra issued a default notice which went unresolved.

2. A company becomes in default of a S77-79 CCA request if they do not provide the agreement within 12 +2 days of receiving the request and remain in default of the request until such time as one is produced which can be enforced in a court.

Same word but in this case a very different meaning.

the debt might be extinguished in 5yrs [gone dead parrot] as you took the loan out whilst resident in Scotland?

but it will be shown defaulted on your Credit file for 6yrs

then the whole account vanishes

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
