Hello Lorrainep

I'm just setting off on my battle with Blackhorse. Do you have any original paperwork from the loan at all or was that the whole point of your SAR to them (assuming you have sent a SAR)?

I'll bein a similar position because my last payment on my loan with Blackhorse was 28th March 2008. So my SAR went off 3 days after 6 years. I'm sure I've seen other threads on CAG where people have had different answers from Blackhorse once they send a 'failed SAR' letter.

Have a look at this thread / link here http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?118145-Full-SAR-for-ppi%281-Viewing%29-nbsp

If you just sent the questionnaire they might have tried to look for the original agreement or might just have considered the info in the questionnaire on it sown. At least with a SAR (link above) it will give you knowledge of whether they have information or not (original agreement, statements etc).

I've seen numerous reports on CAG of one department saying "...sorry we don't have any info..." an another department in the same company, via a SAR providing lots of info (statements, CCAs etc)

sadly this is what you get if you put in a 'speculative' claim for PPI

without doing your research first.

the company will see you actually have no documented proof.

so they'll reply with the speculative answer...they have no info.

they'll now shread all your statements etc etc

and when you SAR they'll say its outside of 6yrs to hold documents.

ALWAYS GATHER INFO FIRST before you tip the company off you want the PPI back.

try an SAR, you might be lucky.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
