Hello Eerybody,

I need a bit of advice.

I sent my request for charges to First Direct 10 days ago. I'm claiming £2,500. They have offered me £1,500 as a good will gesture. They included the usual stuff about their charges being fair etc... They also said If I refuse their offer they're happy to go to court. They've given me 10 days to respond.

I really don't want to settle for their offer, I want to go for the full amount. How should I proceed. Is there are standard letter I should sent, should I call them? Are they gonna get nasty.

Thank you

Pattie

Oh dear, they are happy to go to court are they?

Well why not make them happy then and send them the jolly old LBA and remind them of the 14 day timetable, then fiel a claim.

Go to court my ass if they were that keen they would have gone before now.

I love the smell of banks coughing up refunds first thing in the morning.

HSBC, they tried they failed, they coughed up in full

To all the others beware i am heading your way next.
