i recently got convicted in St Albans Crown Court of 'refusing to supply driver details' .

I had consistently sent these details in,

but the department said they never received them.

they even lost my file,

but the judge paid no heed to this.

i now have a £700 fine,

which I cannot afford to pay,

for something I am NOT guilty of at all.

is there anything I can do?

No. I lost most of my documentation due to storm damage, though i am desperately trying to find anything. What really upsets me is that the judges made no reference to the fact that my file had been lost. is it not possible that all my paperwork was not there? Do I still have an avenue for recourse?

if you sent it by recorded delivery?

surely to PO can trace it.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
