hi i am new to the forum need help with john lewis card dont owe them much have been paying less then minum they want proof of income sent with i expenditure form do ineed to do this .Also can they default me

also i can only say afford to pay £20.00 told themm so

will sort that on my i e form that will be left if that

please advice needed

No, you do not need to give them a copy of your I & E form. The only person that would NEED to see this is a judge.

 

Yes, they can default you. Different companies have different guidelines before they do it. Some say 2 whole payments behind, some 3, some 6! But technically they can default you for a few pounds so if you keep short paying them then you may expect this to happen at some point.

 

You can tell them (in writing only :)) that you have done your I&E and it only leaves (say) £20 for them.

 

If you want a good I&E form then go on the National Debtline site (google it) and you'll find a good one on there to use.
