ok, so on friday they got back to me. They sent two letters, the first saying they thank me for my communication and that they are referring the matter to their client and that the account is on hold. The balance stated on this letter is £2299.

The second states that they can confirm they are acting as agents for natwest and are not the creditor or third party and quotes my old natwest account numbers. They have noted that i made a request to AIC under the consumer credit act 1974 and that they are currently taking their clients instructions in this regard and will revert to me in due course. The balance stated on this letter is £7,290.26!!

Not quite sure what to make of the massive increase of the debt, im assuming its a mistake they've made cos there is no way that the has increased by that much.

Any ideas what my next move should be?
