Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could clear up an issue for me. I petitioned for my bankruptcy on 15th June and this has been granted and an official receiver appointed.

I had 4 creditors - one of which had a CCJ against me for £150,000

I wrote to their solicitors telling them I had no option to declare bankruptcy which I have done.

Today I have received a letter fro them saying that they have applied for a charging order against the Beneficial interest in my property. With the date being 19th June 2009 - my bankruptcy was declared on 15th June.

My beneficial interest obviousely now lies with the OR. Am I correct in thinking that they should not be contacting me and their only cause of action is to claim their share of my assets from the OR?
