hi

we recently moved into a new house, and have discovered the previous tenent left owing approximatly £60,000 to various companys, banks and credit cards, and is forcibly being made bankrupt. the previous tenents have not left any forwarding address and has obviously not notified any of their creditors of the move.

I tried to open a new bank account and and was refused, this has never happened before. Is the previous tenents debt registered to my new house and if so how do i disassociate myself from it?

any advice would be appreciated

chris

i think i must disagee with this

when a credit search

is done on the person ,

only your details will be shown

the only exception is if you have a financial association with another party.

thats say your other half or joint accounts

there is no such thing as a credit black list
