have had a letter today saying they are not going to give me anymore money than what they offered which is half please help,what should i do.I think its court for me they are not backing down.

I would tell them no. You paid a fiver for them to print out the statements they sent you. If they want a duplicate set they can damn well print out a set themselves...at their own expense...

A friend had this from Abbey. I told him to ignore it - the court could hardly claim both parties were not privy to the same info, as they provided it to him in the first place.

Just ignore it or ring them nd say no, it's your property. Although I would be tempted to say 'Yes of course you can have them. I will send you copies at £2 per sheet. Thank You!'

He He, I wouldn't be able to help myself, I'd make really bad photocopies, pack them in that rubbish envelope they sent mine in and mix them all up too! :p

Sorry, I know I shouldn't post here but I'm new and I am looking for the library to access a copy of the dpa letter. I've been in the faq's but I seem to be going round in circles. cansome one help me !!!

i have received a letter today telling me that i am not entitled to the money back.They said i was offered half but i declined this and the offer will not be raised.they said "i suspect this is unlikely to be the answer you might have hoped to receive but nonetheless thank you for taking time and the trouble to contact us."This is from Stuart Higley.PLEASE HELP.what should i do next

have had another letter today saying

"i note that you are to instigate legal action against the bank and i have alerted our lawyers and litigation department accordinly.

i shoul explain that the OFT paper of april 5th was in fact a statement regarding administration charges on a credit card rather than a direction and we have until the end of the month before we have to respond."

Please can someone tell me wot all that means.

Have you read the forum? Your questions sound to me like you have not, please do this and do not owrry about the letter its a distraction technique!

have you sent the prelim and waited 14 days and the LBA and waited anotehr 14 days? If so its time to claim, but dont do this lightly, read the library section about court 1st as its important you get this right

I have just sent my LBA letter and given recent contact with Natwest, I dont think I will even get a response... so soon we could be in the same position.!!
