  11. sorry Phil I just got caught up with My "fax machine" lol...tonight and I missed your post...good luck too with your claim..read through my thread and some of the others here in Lloyds you'll see how they are playing things and pick up some tips and letters to keep in mind. saying that I hope they don't give you the same run around.
  12. I'm a little curious about something. Last week when I was going round in circles phoning all the Lloyds numbers I could, I spoke with a woman in their Glasgow Office.......don't know why it was just another number I was given and she said that SCM were, their "in house" solicitors and they probably wouldn't forward my correspondence on to Lloyds as they made the decisons.......well I don't understand all the ins and outs of this "in house" stuff but I always thought it meant to keep the work in the same firm...........like if I do a design and do all the printing myself it would be "in house " as apposed to sending it off to other printer's...is this the right interpretation of "in house" ? if so does that mean that Sechiari are owned by Lloyds ? As she worked for Lloyds I presumed she knew what she was talking about and didn't question her...... it makes no difference to me really but it would explain why when I asked Mr. Thomas to forward my settlement offer on..he said he wouldn't !!!!! I'm now wondering does he actually make the decisions with out asking "Lloyds" ?
  13. good luck Purple.....you're amongst friends in here, we're all nervous and dam angry right now !!!
  14. brilliant news.......but even after the settlement they're still playing silly buggers eh ! doesn't it ever end, what's with these people ?

I've been up and down and round the bend, but rest assured that when things get tough and you're swearing your head off, the posters, admin, mods, helpers etc. will all join in together and pull you through. I've shed loads of tears over all sorts and scratched my head many times,, but I'd be lost with out this gang on here, they're gems.. good luck Freebird
