  1. Sunny did not report any payments, they did credit check me on application. That said I was not a defaulter and was no worse off from borrowing though I'm not wanting a mortgage anytime soon either Bad old days 1 month loan would cost interest of £70 a loan with this lender cost £75 OVER 4 months, so hope their giving the bad & ugly a run for their money! Where do you go when the bank says no? Want to be educated? Ease up on OP, lots of people manage to pay their loans back! And your right it is different to a payday loan, hope you get approved if that is what you what think you might have to contact them!
  2. Aww gutted for you, had a friend culled last Xmas time when dared ask for help even after a first good two weeks working for this agency name though it wasn't Brook St fault so don't take it personally and they should still entertain you from experience for other job opportunities Be annoyed with the employer, hope you find something better soon x
  3. The wording 'recommend' would worry me, a bit like you can pursue a court claim but not be guaranteed a payout, yes guess it will just see the PDL's invest in solicitors and the like to fight 'spurious claims' Wouldn't surprise me if it is just because the change of chief exec to the FOS... that's the cynic in me or we're just not being told the whole truth for the benefit of a wider audience? Strange how there has been no update from the actual originator of this thread... As someone who worked in PPI claims in a past life, that was hard enough and victims of that proven scandal were not given top up's of £250 so easily I don't foresee anything more then an exceptional 1 or 2 cases, please don't give people false hope I feel for the people having problems paying who then can't set up repayment plans because a PDL's attention is elsewhere, that's the travesty of this or someone losing their job lets hope a victory is worth it - NEVER thought I'd say that but I've grown up a bit and compo of monetary value isn't everything
  4. Agree with all others posters get out - don't be afraid to pick up phone on the jobs you turned down it may not be to late I started in insurance brokerage couple of weeks back - found it incredibly boring, condesending and surprised for a regulated industry how little and forthcoming the training was - the formal exams would probably have bankrupted me to! LOL! needless to say I told the boss it wasn't quite as described in the interview and didn't last long after that.., so tread carefully on complaining Within a week I got another job and better paid, there is hope for you too
